HI , awesome work! Little idea for improvement: Use inks / Shades to bring out more detail of the figures - especially to make the white look more ´battlefield style´. I love the building(s)

Aye, the skirl of the pipes always gives me goosebumps. Fantastic work and detail. I've been collecting Colonial Empire Figures 1/72 to 30 mm (now some 1/35 scale since my eyesight has gotten worse) for 40 yrs now but have never been able to actually use them in a Wargame. This soothed my desires and it is some of the best photos of colonial figures since Featherstone's Solo Wargaming! Next the Zulu War, Boxer Rebellion or maybe the Northwest Frontier? Keep up the good work, where did you find the musical soundtrack? MS

Thank you! I will be building another in this genre that will be 4x the scope of this one. I guess this was the starter set:) I have 86 different dioramas planned and started in various stages of progress. I should have a small scale Zulu War staged at some point late this year maybe. I've always been deep into music so I pay attention when I hear something I really like, find out who and where about artists. I have a program to edit and overlay multiple tracks so all of the soundtracks are original in that respect. Since I don't gather any revenue from the videos I am not in any copyright hot water. My goal is to plant a flag in global modeling with 1/72 scale dioramas of many different time periods & armies. I wish I had thought of this earlier, what I sold off is staggering. Thousands and Thousands of hand painted figures by my hand.

When I was a kid in Chicago the local Bag Pipe Band is the Shannon Rovers and they are very good. Still are to this day. If you hear bagpipes in Chicago it's them. Grew up watching them in parades. Everyone would stop what they are doing and watch them pass by. All of the videos have separate distinct sound tracks. I try to keep avoid repetition on any noticeable level.

@@thefoodmercenary Terrific Mike, I have a friend who has been playing the pipes for several years now and is very good. After I commented I noted the extended in re: music. I did share this video with him. I have an old vinyl Soundtrack of "Khartoum" which would have gone good with this video. But it is great how your able to put pipes over background. I also have an old vinyl of "ZULU" Soundtrack which incl."Men of Harlech" in the movie. Keep going , your stuff is wonderful. MS

Did I see a 1/72nd version of the old 1/32nd scale Airfix Desert Outpost? If so, was it a kit or scratch built?
