@@worldhistoryminiatureshous9757 I was listening to a history podcast called “The Rest is History” an episode called American Crusades about how Puritan religion has infused American wars (as with other countries) but when they came to this one they said “nope, this one was just a land grab” :)
Great diorama with american soldier figures , they are painted so great and they are very detailed , at this small scale (1/72 scale) . Thank you so much for sharing another great project and fantastic page of history . Have a great time and take care , my friend !🎩👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🏆🏅
MAny thanks for watching and kindly commenting . I do much appreciate . The soundtracks are a collaboration with the YT channel MCRC Music and Art . Rob does a great work . Wish you a great week end . Robert
When you do what you like, you don't even notice the time passing by, these works take some time and it takes a lot of dedication, congratulations my friend!! Great video and have a nice weekend.
Thanks a lot for the visit Alexander . Well appreciated . Thanks for the tips . Will finish first my 2 bottles of blue Shades before starting and using a new product ! I do not like waste things ... Have a great week . Robert .
Looks fantastic!!! I don't know what a zenithal primer is, I need to look that up!!! I also thought it was clever to have the opening showing the soldiers fronts moving toward the camera, and the closing showing their back to show them moving away....very nice touch Robert!! Always enjoy your video's, and I get to learn a little history along the way!!! Take Care, Bill.
Wow, so many soldiers you had to paint!! Did you count them? I appreciate your hard work to make a video out of your diorama project. I am glad that I don't need to make nature or create nature to make hiking videos. LOL. 😂😂😂🌺🌺🌺😊😊😊
Many thanks for this great comment Monica . I probably have painted nearly 2500 miniatures ! And many others are waiting on the bench ... Wish you a nice day and enjoy the nature .
Great comment much appreciated Paul ! I like to display every set in a small diorama for their presentation before include them in a final and biggest diorama . Best regards , Robert .
Another great selection of model painting, highlighting the cheeks and chins that is what amazed me. Can you tell us what size paint brushes you use as I have never come across any that fine before. Hobby shops seem to be a thing of the pass out here, there have been so many closed down in the last fifty years in Sydney. John.
I do appreciate your visit and commenting John . I think most of Hobby business is done through internet by now . But visiting , touching the kit boxes and purchasing in a shop is a real excitement ! Usually for the cloathes I used a number 2 brush and for the cheeks , chins , belts , etc , I use a number 0 . Best greetings , Robert .
It's amazing how you transform tiny pieces of plastic into such a realistic scene and revive rather dry textbook history. Wonder why this color of blue was used for uniforms as it seems to be an expensive dye product of the time. As always, I'm so impressed with the minute detailing on each character. Your work, Robert, is always done with such care! 👍👍🤩🤩
@@Abi.S. Hahahaha, no! Indanthrene is a warm midnight blue. Maybe this is more of a manganese or cerulean 😂Have you thrown quilling away and taken up the arts of painting now?!?! 🤣
