My father in law from my first marriage grew up there. His parents lived in a shack on 1719 S. Branson before they passed away. All the homes in that street have no garage or driveway, but that’s because they were built in the late 1800’s when autos didn’t exist yet.

They had the federal government help them figure out the financial books because the books made no sense on what, where and why monies were spent and distributed. It was in the paper a couple of years ago. How old are you? If you can get out, get out. Try the military. Trust me when I say the state that im currently in is the same as Indiana.

Sometimes maybe it's not race it's just stupidity that causes issues between colors, races ethnic , some times it's growing up and realizing the world isn't what every one says it's loving your neighbors no matter what color or races or anything. So grow up and get to know your neighbors no matter black white Hispanic Latino grow the yell up teach our children to love each other we are the only ones who can fix this I'm teaching my white children.that have indiand, Mexican, Latino, we have every ethic background even though we have freckles white skin some of us have red hair but we still have backgrounds that Are worth learning. And I teach my kids no matter Are you teaching yours
Why did you include Madelyn Pugh? She has nothing to do with Marion, she was born & raised in Indianapolis & went to Indiana University. If you're gonna exploit celebrities, get the ones who have an actual history there.
It's horrible here we moved here because my husband works here and could be home daily but the schools are horrible of you have a child with autism. Their is no help. I have 2 younger children who have already done the work yrs before in Michigan schools the schools suck as far as expecting anything.

At the 0.28 mark is the house were I grew up in the mid 60's. Man, I loved that house. I even buried "treasure" in the under the brick in the alley.

Um..I know its 5 years later but Madelyn married a Marion doctor in 1964 and moved there for a time. She was married in the Hostess House!
