I still dont like the idea of people building resorts in western ghats... one starts...and then other investors/builders also want to construct. No doubt it is wonderful but i feel we humans should let nature be alone and not disturb it ...enough we have grabbed forests just to make money through tourism...people get tempted to visit such places. But if we really are a true nature lover we must not disturb wildlife and promote resorts in forest best to avoid it.

I believe 2020 covid pandemic has opened our minds and hearts to hidden gems like this in our own country. I wish and hope eco tourism in this part of India gets more traction.
It’s also important not to allow plastic and other harmful materials (for forest and animals) to be carried by visitors. And littering in forest be considered as serious offence.

@@dexxxxxxxx you can visit this place by your own car or you can visit this place by Train till sawantwadi and then you have to rent a car to reach dodamarg taluka in sindhudurg district in kokan..

How beautiful is life with nature, but who understands that because human beings have forgotten the purpose of their own existence and is after the term development which is crooned by some selfish cruel people against nature and the entire world is following that adding additional meaning to development, i.e. destruction of nature. Ofcourse conserving and saving whatever little is left existing of our beautiful environment which nature has gifted India, I feel the simultaneous importance is to ensure that environment and nature should be added and forests grown even in the destroyed development spheres in whatever way or whatever little every human being can do, not just by adding beauty to the house by plastic plants, but live plants and trees everywhere. Isn't it an irony on part of human beings that first people destroy the environment and nature and then keep crying about global warming. While Covid-19 has proved how helpless we boasting human beings are in actuals, people have to still learn of not only respecting nature, but not destroying even a single plant or branches or leaves and allow them to grow freely enjoying the freedom of their happiness shared with us.

Let me tell you a secret about human nature. No matter how beautiful a place you go to you are ALWAYS limited by your own mind as to how much joy you can experience. The ONLY way to increase joy in your life is to work on your mind, not by hopping from one scenic/touristy location to the other. It will not bring you anything other than you being able to make your equally miserable friends jealous for a minute at the most and thereby deriving some false sense of superiority for a little bit. This is too high a price for nature to pay for you to get this fleeting feeling. The irony though is that once you truly do work on your mind and succeed in that aspect, you are bound to be joyful in the most ordinary and mundane day-to-day situations that you will have no real use for "tourism" of any kind.
