- Elise bought a 1977 Lincoln Lowrider. It has 15 inch wire wheels and will be getting gold knock offs. It has Accuair E-level air management with two 2 Viair compressor. I will be maintaining it and modifying it on the channel. It's a really cool car. I can't wait.

Even though back in the 1980s this guy in town had a gray Lincoln with a moon roof with a black vinal top had dark tinted window's it look good on his because tinting window's was fairly new what people started doing back then with the speaker city stereo system that was in San Rafael people that had money was going there to get the beat hooked up with the gold zap board. Everyone else was putting house speaker's in the trunk
No tint, it's a car you drive to get noticed and show off the inside

Enjoy the content. 👍🏽 As the proud and happy owner of a 78’ Lincoln Mark V Cartier Edition Lowrider, I think it’s great to see the excitement on your purchase of an iconic car and hear about your interest in Lowriding since you were a kid. I was very fortunate in finding my car in excellent, original condition. Still factory paint and interior and everything were amazing and in working condition. I’ve since done many upgrades to underneath the car and running gear and added hydraulic’s and high end sound system. All the work I’ve done myself. I am excited to see what upgrades to the engine you do, since I am looking to start with upgrades on my motor. Performance wise, reliability wise and of course visually. But I’m not as familiar with fords and their engines for these years, so I’m researching mostly. I have the 6.6L 400 motor in mine. Also interested in seeing your resolve with some of the same issues you might dive into or come across that I have had. Like the loose steering and gas smell. Which I think is a vapor canister issue maybe? Anyhow, thanks for the video and I look forward to future updates on the Mark V. BTW, my vote is a 💯percent 👎🏽👎🏽🙅🏽♂️No on the window tint!!!! But, if you did, I would have to agree with a light brownish tone and nothing else! No blue or yellow or black or grey! Please! Lol. Also, I’m not sure that yours is the Cartier edition. Just based from the details your car doesn’t have and the interior color. All the Lincoln’s Mark V models came with the Cartier clock in the dash, but the Cartier edition came in two colors, cream and grey, and had Cartier in gold on the Opera windows and the Cartier symbol on the trunk.👍🏽👍🏽😎

i have had a Lincoln LS an i presently have a 19 Continental. Mainly because I grew up in the back of one just like yours an we had few others. Lincolns are the best kept secrets and the new line is the most under rated an car badge in the world today!

That Yellow Integra is a Type R which are going up in value n keep going up as long as it's all original and not molested! There were only a few made the 2nd best Integra is the GSR model.

At the very most one may get away with a colored tint to match the color scheme of the vehicle think _"Red Wine."_
Perhaps having window etching might look good behind a colored tent but still if though if you put that much money into your interior you don't want to hide it.

I wouldn't tint at all , but if I had to tint deep purple / midnight Black / Obsidian . In Australia tinting is for UV protection I'd check out the rates as not all block UV .

It's got the stock hood ornament, it has white walls (thicker ones wouldn't look good) and she's thinking about dice, but doesn't wanna lose that much visibility.

No tint is the way to go I think.
Just make sure that your fuel filters are brand new and check the fuel hoses on the top of the motor because they tend to run really hot on that part and you might get vapor lock later in the summertime.
I had a '72 390 c.i. burn to the ground because I didn't know Ford had a 4" rubber fuel hose to the carb and it leaked all over the manifold

Nice car but a friend had one when I was in high school and I noticed you mentioned about the cruise control I suggest you to disconnect it because my friends it would engage and when we will try stop the car would not stop we almost wreaked several times so please don’t not fix it you should take it off take care and enjoy it 👍🏼

My dad bought a 78 brand new and drove it into the the 90's and kept it under 100k miles. Beautiful ride, they naturally ride low like driving a cloud.

@@carscream1650 I'm not sure what he's in these days, we've had one recent call when his wife passed. First time we spoke in over 10 years. I got my passion for cars from him when I was a kid and he took me to actually sit in an IndyCar from 73, unfortunately that's about all the parenting I got from him. I found out later in life about how much interest he had in cars when I told him as an adult my own interest and tried to build a relationship but it didn't seem to work for us.
That sucks. I got my interest in cars from my old man too. Started by holding the flashlight...

Hahaha! I had a VW beetle (check it out in some of my videos) and it was static dropped about 1.5" off the ground. I used to say bags were for groceries, until I got fed up with how inconvenient that car was and bagged it.

1. No tint maybe add a blue pattern to tie inside to outside ..
2. No chain wheel maybe wood grain grant or sharp wheel. I'm with her on it.
3. Larger visit compressors and tank hit switch suspension in Arizona (website) maybe ask for a James and ask about what may help better.
Also get a knockoff tool don't do hammers anymore they work 1000 times better like a 4 way but for knockoffs

Yeah. Push the front of the seat bottom down and back, like real hard and quick. There's a couple hooks under there holding it in. Then there are a couple bolts holding the back rest on.

i see the problem, replace those compressors with viar 480c
The problem was a bad relay on one of the compressors.... But we're gonna add a second tank, so bigger compressors would probably be smart.
From experience mount the compressors underneath the back of the car it quiets down the noise of the compressors.... cool ass car yall got ....
@@carscream1650 I stopped using those small compressors for bag jobs back in 2009, the 480c doesn't struggle or overheat
