    I’m a girl and I just bought a bike like this since I’m a beginner. It is awesome and the best part is my feet can reach the ground 🤣

    I own a 2008 GZ-250.
    If you cut the baffle out, I think you have to rejet the carburetor, it has something to do with the back pressure. Most of the videos I've seen, the bike has ran like crap after they start messing with the exhaust. I've been wanting to hack off the ugly megaphone for a while now but haven't for that exact reason.

    What do you think? Should I get this bike or the shadow 750 for my first bike? I literally have zero riding experience and am looking to buy my first bike

    • @dummnerd
      @dummnerd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends if ya wanna ride highway or not. If it's just in the city, then get the 250. If ya wanna practice highway, 750. Also, don't go on the highway right off the bat

      @@dummnerd thank you! So basically the 250 lol I wanna go on the highway but it probably won't be for awhile. I am going to pay cash for this bike so my second I can get the Indian dark horse I want. Will cost about 15,000 but this should get me skilled enough to ride that, correct? Also the 2003 shadow has over 50,000 miles on it, where as the 2008 250 has 750, they both are 2,800 bucks so I think the better deal would be the 250 if I'm correct.

      @@elimanning6520 you will have to get used to the weight difference, but yes one of these will get you started with the basics

    Would you pay $1500 for a 2006 Suzuki 250cc with 1300 miles? Or would you suggest grabbing a bigger bike?

      @@dummnerd very little haha but I've been driving a moped that reaches 39mph max to help prepare me. I also found a Honda Shadow for $2,000 but it has 40,000 miles👀

    • @dummnerd
      @dummnerd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the shadow is in decent condition that can be ok. Since you're a little experienced, I would guess you would probably have a 250 for about a month and want to upgrade. If you had absolutely none, then I would say get the 250

    I had this as my first bike for a few months, such a fun little guy. It's very small and light, so much so that I'm actually thinking about getting another one. It's very quick to grow out of, but they hold the cheap value they have real well, and it's just so much fun to hop on and ride
