- I give you guys my full review and a load test of this great little generator I picked up from Kmart last year on Black Friday. It's definitely not as quiet as a Honda, but if some supplemental emergency power is all you need, it will do great.
It's 2 stroke, meaning no oil changes to worry about. It is much better constructed, with more features and higher power output than the Harbor Freight version.
If you can get it below 150 bucks, it's a pretty good deal, but at the price you can get it at around Black Friday, under 100, it's a steal! - บันเทิง

Its Basically one of those old and loud leaf blower motors that wake you up in the morning lol.
I just got one from yard sale 40$ practically new guy had it on his rv but never used it ... he even forgot he had it.. going to take out the old fuel and start it up this week end and make a video

Finally pulled the trigger and got this, wanted one since I bought my house 6 years ago couldn't justify $400ish sale price for a 4000 watt generator (living here in so cal power hardly goes out) just got this for 129 on home Depot (same price at Walmart) this makes sense for me, my main concerns are only running a small window AC unit during the day and running a fridge at night but based on your review and other reviews on similar watted generators looks like I can get away with running led lamps and other stuff on top of those
I've got the same one I bought 2 years ago, I haven't had the pleasure of using it yet being it's my backup if my other two pulsar generators fail or if I need it on a trip. Pulsar generators are top notch generators, my main genset is the pulsar 4000w that's hooked up to my travel trailer once the power goes out. Champion gensets are good as well, but pulsar gensets work flawlessly in my opinion

Opened up a brand new one 7-27-22. Plugged in a 2hp 120v 14.5 air compressor. The new 2 stroke fired off on the second pull, pretty amazing. But the A/C comp would not turn on. No noise at all.
I tried twice. Hope I didn't fry something in the compressor.
Try plugging in a pure sine wave inverter in the 12volt socket the frequency coming out of the main socket is more square than sine wave most house hold items runs more on a a one than square.
I jus got one just like your but the first thing I noticed is that the mix ratio is no longer 50:1. Both on the pulsar manual and on the fuel tank is marked 30:1. Everything el is the same.

Take a plug in drill, plug it into generator, put drill in reverse and squeeze the trigger while turning it by hand, trust me it might surprise you if it works. Make sure you do this while generator is running and be careful to not let the power drill get away from you once it gets going
Dumb question, Can you run a 60" LCD TV with this generator? Short term
Kansas Well really it's about how many watts the TV requires to run, but honestly, I wouldn't run any electronics off of this thing directly, because the power output isn't going to be clean.
For electronics, you really want an inverter generator. Check out my channel for my review of the Amico Power Inverter generator.
U can, but not recommended. Power out sine wave is sketchy and hard on TV's electronics

Yeah pretty much all these tiny two stroke generators are the same. But they all vary slightly. I've found the Pulsar to be one of the better ones, in terms of quality.

The idea that 70 years after these devices started to become popular they are still using the same technology is appalling. They should be using fuel cells, to stop the noise and the inconvenience. Some still have a cable to start them up. This is why IT is so big, we don't stop because "is aint broke it don't fix it"

DO NOT BUY! The “BEARING PLATE” is made of plastic. Completely inadequate. Broke the third time I started it. Will break again if replaced.

My Harbor Freight Tailgator can run a mini Fridge, and a 1500 watt heater at the same time so TBH I'm not really that impressed with yours, especially since it's like $40- 50 more.
