The Black Winter is such an incredible pickup. The pickup's clarity and ability to take on massive amounts of gain without sacrificing clarity, matched with this amp, just sounds perfect.
I put one in my 08 schecter. Things sounds mean!!! The black winter neck pickup is super underrated too

I’ve spoken to Jason on his TH-cam page. I’ve been following the design of this amp since he started it and was posting about it. I wanted to buy one by putting down a reserve payment. Life sometimes throws you curve balls and I have to get some stupid health shit straightened out first. But as soon as I pass everything…I WILL HAVE ONE! It’s an incredible sounding amp and you did it justice! It’s going to be a gift to myself for getting through the other side. Thanks for the cool video! It makes me want it even more! Jason's definitely at the top of the game. I was lucky enough to get one from the first US run. As a proud owner of an Alta 100 I can attest that this captures how it sounds in the room really well and everything Kyle said is 100% accurate. Some of the best modded Marshall tones out there. I get that same smile Kyle had every time I play.
Some say the gain is fizzy, and the string separation is not the best. What do you think? My favorite tones are Van Halen first album, Ratt Invasion of your privacy album, and Dokken Back for the attack.

Jason makes the best Marshall sound that is so much incredible pure tone that sounds so good! Okay i been looking for a new amp for a while now and I have looked at other amps out there but this amp i keep wanting to hear being played by some one. I knew of the Australian guy(Jason?) from Headfirst awhile ago, he was taking those 20 and 50 watt Marshall Origins and turning them into absolute firebreathers. I think he was even giving the schematics out for free. I spoke to him briefly,very nice guy.

If you play too long on the clean channel a funnel web comes out of the amp and switches it CH 3, then returns to it’s slumber by the input Jack.

That is a great sounding amplifier right there! I have a David Bray Amps modded JCM800 2204 and that Alta has that sound I gravitate to. It would be great to see if you could get a Bray COCO 50 or 4550 to review.
I had Bray mod my 77' JMP, wich I sold. He does great work,I just never got along with the way he voices the bottom end. too mushy. but nice sounding gain.

I came across a listing for it on reverb, a 2 Channel 100 watt head, curious to hear this thing ...I've never seen it or heard of it on anybody's Channel anywhere.. check it out if you get a chance, and if you haven't already. Not a big Vader cab guy but $1 says the Vader can handle the low end. They can handle the absurd amount of bottom end an old Laney AOR pumps out and not many cabs wont rattle apart with the bass boost on with an AOR.

It’s kind of a bit of everything. The base tones are jmp like, engage the clipping and it’s jubilee, and modern mode gets you mtl territory and the brite caps are very 2203’ish

One amp I hope yo can get on the channel ist the *Ibanez TBX150H Tone Blaster Xtreme* , a 150Watt solid state amp from Ibanez. I had it like 13 years ago and from what I remember it sounded pretty sick. It's kind of an oddity.

My main amp is a JCM800 2204 clone built with a Headfirst PCB. I added a full Fender clean channel using an extra tube. Killer amp!
