Nicely done! Could you be more specific as to what wiring needed to be done? Did you need to replace the 1M wiring harness with the M3 or was it plug and play but with the M3 ECU and some minor modifications? What functions would be lost if you didn’t do the wiring modifications?
Hi, I’m considering swapping a 135i N54 Manual to an S65 DCT. The M3 DCT running gear is already installed at the rear of the car, so I only need to handle the front-end components, wiring, pedals, and exhaust. I’ve seen others swap the entire M3 wiring loom into the car, but that seems like a lot of unnecessary extra work. Is there a way to get technical support and guidance on completing this swap? Specifically, I’d like advice on what to repin, an easier step-by-step guide, and possibly remote coding assistance. I’m based in the UK, so unfortunately, I can’t bring my car to you in person. My goal is to avoid unnecessary modifications, like tearing apart the back half of the car, and instead focus on just swapping and repinning wires where needed. Thanks in advance for your help!
Great job Guys!!! Love the work. But can you tell me about the weight balance? Is it still 50/50? BMW is known for 50/50 weight balance. They famously put this car on a scale in the lunch advert to show that. Has that changed?
A South African chap giving us a tour of engine bay!
I'm South African. This dude is Australian
Good to see our brothers making it abroad 🇿🇦
Absolutely outstanding! Love the oem finish
Great result. I love the swap. Do you know is anyone has swapped an s63 into a e61 wagon? Now that would be rare
Saw the black one at a car show earlier in the year, its very clean with the carbon intake kit.
Gotta love that S65 spinning above 7000rpm
Such an awesome conversion... I want to do this too

i'd love to see the x5 swap
Is the output right? Is not the S65 supposed to output at least 250KW at the wheels
What’s the total cost for this build ?
sounds amazing. you turned the 1m into a real M car. real M cars have itbs
Finally!! I’ve been waiting

Can this be done on my 128i convertible 2008. I would love to know and how much. Thank you.
Can you expand on how the wiring works? Did you use the M3 interior loom?
How much would a build like this cost?
Sounds like the dude working on the car us from Cape Town originally. He scored bigtime with immigrating to work at a top spot like this
I'm South African from Cape Town. This dude sounds fully Australian
Hi, I have 09 135 and was wondering will s65 engine harness plugs in to 135 chassis just like you guys did in this video or no? Thank you 🙏
Nothing at plugs in. It all needs re-pinning and wiring run
Great job guys!
I have a 128i 6 speed. How much would it cost for me to have you’re team swap my carZ
Was the FEM from the donor car used in the swap ? What is needed to swap a B58 from a F30 340i into a F30 328i ?
Very tidy.
I'm sure that exhaust will get addressed one day 😎
So cool. Is it using the 1series DSC unit? With an M3 DME?
It's an M3 DSC
Can you guys swap an s55 into my 135i 😅
Work of art 👍👌

I heard this engine is only 15 pounds heavier than n54. Watch jay lenos garage with marcos’ 1m v8 clone. He says something about it in there.
I think these guys did a video weighing a bunch of diff engines. S65,ls,n54 and n52
Hi how much did all the processes cost?
Can this conversation be done? E82 120d to s55/n55 with 1m rep kit. Really appreciate a response thanks
Of course it can be done, but don't expect the conversion to be cheap :)
May as well just buy a 135i and do the body work.
What does a build like this cost (minus the cost of the 1 series car)
So…I have a dct car. How do I integrate the s65 electronically? I know what to do mechanically.
Will need to have the car sent to our shop for this to be done
What about the driveshaft, is it custom built or from the 1M?
@@mikolizazi modified M3
Brilliant!
Should’ve gone catless test pipes and valved mufflers
Will any of the S63's fit in there?
@@RavTokomi it has been done in Russia. Very hard with custom bonnet
amazing!!
you forgot to use the whole rpm range on those street runs! :(
very tidy work.
Nicee🤔 i was wondering if i take my 350z can you guys swap the engine out and install a s65? Obviously imma be charged if you do but is it possible?
He had that massive microphone in his hand what happened to it 😬😬😬
Wouldn’t it be cheaper to stick to an LSx motor ? 230kw isn’t exactly a lot for the amount of money you’ll spend with this conversion
Definitely, but I'd rather keep it a BMW in a BMW, keeping it well integrated because at least the parts will communicate better with each other.
Hardly worth the effort .the hp is way down on factory hp.. something is not right ..should be at least 250kw at the wheels
your production is poor, respectfully. Why wear a mask then attempt to speak? frustrating for the viewer because your content is super good.
