- How to get your CV shortlisted for Germany Jobs ? Avoid CV Rejection
Dear Friends,
When we start searching for a job in Germany from India or from any of our home countries, the first problem what we face is CV rejection. In this video, based on my rejections, successes and hiring experience, I share 5 different tips to avoid CV rejections. I personally use LinkedIn as my job search tool. So in this video, most of my tips are relating to LinkedIn tips. These tips could be used in other job boards as well.

Thanks for sharing. I do have a question however, if you somehow manage to find a referral do they apply on your behalf or do you apply and mention their name or apply through them. How does it work?
Hi, It actually depends on the specific company process. What I observed is, first Candidate shares the CV and Cover Letter to internal employee. They start the referral process with these docs, then candidate receives an email to fill the remaining information in their career portal. This process can be different for different companies.

@@jegankennedy Hi Jagan, I was asking for something like.. kennenlernen, or Selbstpräsentation. Basically a short introduction which we make to the interviewer preceeding the main interview. Long time ago I recall some employers used to do this.

Generally we can check in www.immowelt.de & www.immobilienscout24.de. Frankly, I do not currently know any other specific sites, because my needs used to be filled mostly with these 2 sites.

If you are already in Germany with FRV & if you are looking for entry level roles, you can also consider Ausbildung options. Please check in www.arbeitsagentur.de/jobsuche/ and you can also reach out to your nearby job center. They also assist in finding jobs. (Sorry, mistakenly your comment was held as spam, just noticed. On indeed, all jobs are in german language. How do we know if they need german or english?
Personally I never used Indeed and so I can't immediately comment on it. But I suggest trying in LinkedIn. That's pretty good.
I am already in Europe (Italy) on study visa. Is it easy to move from Italy to Germany as compared to moving from India ?
I think it does not make a big difference. As long as I know, you would need to follow the same process. But if your application process happens in Italy, then it could be comparatively quicker than in India.
I am 55 years old with 17 years of experience on IT with Solution Architect certificaion in AWS and AZURE. Can I get job in German with job seeker visa from India. Please suggest.
Hello Sir,
As far as I checked there is no upper age limit for job seeker visa. So you should be able to get job seeker visa and come here to do job search. That's one way.
Alternatively, if you have any client connections/senior onsite co-ordinators kind of connections in Germany, then you can probably connect with them. Ask them to refer you for a job here. Getting job while you are in India can save you from multiple hassles that may be part of job seeker visa route.
However both are possible for you.
After doing Master in Germany, is grade affects the interview process or not?
If yes how much minimum grades required to atleast appear in interview.
Hi, I don't have full clarity on this yet. But when I checked with my local friends, they say grades are required for some specific fields but not for every field. Fot IT jobs, grades doesn't seem to be required. However, I suggest you to take a second opinion from some other creators who were student once in Germany.

How to put refarrals in CV?
Do you mean references? If so, that's not a mandatory one for Germany. You can provide references upon request.
