Not sure why this exists when you can buy a RYOBI EZClean that will do the same job and will also work as a low pressure washer to. I run rinseless through my EZClean all the time.
At one time I was checking out those ryobi sprayers as I have a pile of their batteries, but after watching plenty of reviews on them I just decided to skip. For me the kegs are super portable and easy to carry, plus with the separate spray wand, easy enough to hold over my head and spray rooftops. I really appreciate you watching!
Agreed, the Ryobi can foam, spray and even pressure rinse at 600 PSI. I just hot foamed then pressure rinsed with hot Feynlab V3, followed by towel drying with Gyeon Ecowash as the drying aid.
Looks like a great product. My question would be if it is not pressurizing the keg then why need a keg? This looks to be the same technology behind say a Sunjoe 4 gallon 24v sprayer, but built to convert a keg. So if you already have a keg then it might be worth it. If you are starting with no keg for $120 the Sunjoe or even the Fanttik will do the same and they run at around 90 PSI as well. Not knocking the product just can't wrap my head around why the keg is needed if it is pumping then maybe even a bucket of rinseless would work with it and siphon out of it. Unless I am missing some type of need for the keg so would love to know if the keg has to be there or not.
This was really meant for window film and tint applications. If you've been around window film guys, they use kegs non stop so this would be their product. I wanted something I could fill and transport with plenty of water or liquid and be able to refill easily or move from keg to keg. After looking at the Sunjoe, I think it's safe to say that I can't leave it behind the car and walk around the entire thing with just the spray wand. Before I bought this I did see people were building these to use with 5 gallon buckets, so I am doing a DIY video one as well for people who would want to make their own for much less. In all honesty, I only found this thing because a commenter on another video asked if I had ever seen or checked it out. Seemed like something I could adapt for my needs because all I was using was pressurized kegs and I hated the portable compressor issue and only being able to fill with about 3 gallons. (I can even use this with a 2.5 gallon keg) End of day, I think it's safe to say we both put out videos for a lot of stuff people will never buy. ;)
@ The 5 gallon bucket one would be great there is a whole industry on these most of them are called camp showers or battery rinser. Problem is rinseless wash is about all you can use with them. Great thing about the Sunjoe is it’s using garden hose quick connect so you can easily adapt an Uberflex and still use their wand or add a spray gun. Your right about showing stuff on video others would not buy. I do have a few kegs in the way to review from Scott Graves to see what the hype about the kegs is. I just see the cost saving as the reason for a leg is pressure now without pressure really any container is good to use.
A keg system built by someone else runs over 400 bucks and I've seen them at 500. Until now I used my old homebrew kegs, and with parts ran me about 70 bucks each to build. I got really tired of using a small compressor.
Looks cool but wish it was cheaper - can't see spending this as a hobbyist. Still would love to do a DIY version of this and the keg - looking forward to that video!
That's a great piece of kit! For the price, it's a hard pass for me. IMO, the 24V Sun Joe sprayer just takes that keg system to school. It has a 4 gallon capacity, and the flow and pressure are amazing.
Seems like a nice product. For the enthusiast not worth it to me. For the pro I could see it working, but if the pump dies you’re in trouble. I’m an over thinker, but that’s what I fear. In the middle of a job and it craps out then you’re in trouble. Can you still pump it manually that way? Other than that it is pretty cool. Would be way cooler at $100 though 😂
Just being realistic here, but you can barely build a functioning pressurized keg for 100 bucks. That's with a used 25 dollar keg, 20 buck air hose, 20 dollar spray wand, and all the additional parts needed, plus you still need that compressor.
I agree. It all depends where you’re using it or what you already have on hand. Starting from scratch you’d be around $500 for this setup or if you had a compressor already you could build a setup for under $300. I’ve never used a keg, all depends on what you’re using it for. I’m an enthusiast so to spend this money to only be able to wash my cars isn’t worth the cost to me. I think if you used a keg a lot you could for sure justify it and allow you to make more profit as a business. Get the price down to $150 or so and it would be a game changer
I have a pile of milwaukee stuff and was looking at the M18 but really didn't want to spend the money just to pressurize a keg faster. I had actually looked at the M18 compressor also, but then realized I was going to spend $350 just to fill a keg and that it was really only good for brad nails and filling tires.
That system is was over priced for what you get, there's maybe $100-$150 max in parts on this thing. Might be worth it if it included the keg with stainless steel fittings. I think you are trying way to hard to convince yourself its worth the money. How do you know the hose is better than the Flexzilla, just by feel? What's the max PSI printed on both hoses? What type of chemicals can you spray with it? If all you can spray are PH neutral chemicals that's a huge negative. There website does not tell you this information. What happens to the pump if you run a high PH APC through the pump? That is one of the problems with electric pump sprayer bottles. the seals fail due to high PH chemicals. How much is a new pump if it fails due to HI PH chemicals. The comparison was flawed as you only pressurized your keg to 65PSI but you said the pump runs at 90psi. Pressurize the keg to 90psi with the same handle then compare output & pressure. I built a dual function keg sprayer that can also foam product if wanted for less than this unit and I could add a battery powered compressor to it and still be under the cost of this thing. Poor engineering on the company's part by not including a vacuum relief fitting for the gas port to allow air to enter the keg so there is not a vacuum build up in the keg, instead you have to pull the pressure relief valve, really for $350.
A few things, when I reached out to them, they simply said it would handle most detailing chemicals. This pump was not designed for the detailing world, it was developed for window film and tint applications. As far as the testing, it would have taken much, much longer to pressurize the tank, and the pressure would not hold steady for more than a minute of use before dropping. The hose is printed at 300psi max pressure, and it is more silicone based than the flexzilla. Both are rated similar in pressure, but you can easily feel the difference when you touch them. As far as value goes, I am building several myself to see what I can get for the price and can say there is no way you can get the same parts and quality for less than $150. I would say if you increased it to $200, you would be there.
@@TheOutdoorDetailer wondering why my response proving this unit only had $150 max in parts in it was deleted and proving that I can build a detail keg for $150
Everything has a cost. An air compressor for someone without access to outdoor power where their car sits is completely pointless, and a compressor that's inexpensive can't do anything other than air your tires up or run a brad nailer. This product is for people who can't have a compressor where they work, and honestly, it's far quieter and allows someone to work all day without access to an outlet. Appreciate the input though.
@TheOutdoorDetailer ive used my compressor for construction. Auto detailing. Auto painting. General cleaning. Each their own. Ain't paying 400 dollars for a battery and hose.
for $350 I will stick with my air compressor. If it was $70 maybe but not more than double what I paid to build my keg
Love the idea but too much money for me to try when I already have a compressor and keg setup.
Nice work on this review. Really appreciate that you bring interesting perspectives…and outdoors too 👍
Wow! This is great!
Really cool product! Love these new innovative products coming out to make detailing easier for mobile setups, thanks for the review!

Demonstrate to everyone that it operates with the LID OFF👍👀
Been using that Tru Spray Vacuum pump for 3 years now you can use the Keg with the lid off🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Winner Winners Lobster dinner😂😂😂
I can go over a month without having to to recharge the battery for the Vacuum Pump👌
I would just get an inflator. Tru8 plus keg and incidentals looks like it will easily break the $500 mark.
