- How to fix DirectX Errors Crashing FIFA 24 On PC
In this video, I will be showing you how to fix FC 24 DirectX errors on your Windows 10 /11 PC or laptop. These errors can commonly happen on launch, in the middle of a match, or even after opening a pack. If you launch FIFA 24 then you may get a DirectX error message or warning which crashes your game to the desktop and may say "FC 24 is shutting down"! One of these FIFA 24 errors could say "DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED.
You may also get an error such as: DirectX function "m_d3d12PipelineLibrary-StorePipeline(HashStrDx12(key),pipelineState)" failed with E_UNEXPECTED ("Unexpected failure.")
DirectX errors in FC 24 can be caused by the graphics driver crashing, outdated drivers, or your graphics settings. So try the methods in this video to hopefully fix these issues.

@@Zyrock Yeah, got to the 'Personal Settings Profile' bit and then crashed with the DXGI error.
Restarting first helped me.

but what do i have to do if it says unable to save personal settings 1 i had the same issue in fifa 23
disable your windows defender or any anti virus, like everything especially file management or whatever it's called

Just delete the settings folder in the EA FC folder in documents and when it opens ensure you have cutscenes on half the frame rate .
i cant seem to find the settings folder, please assist

Mine is also doing the same. I thought maybe its because am using ea play, but try to repair the game
@@sizwesithole6554 I changed it from 120hz back to 60 hz and it worked fine not closed or crashes once

I did fix mine yesterday, try to install the latest graphics drivers, and set your game graphics to Auto. Then it will work.
Hey guys,
If you're getting the DirectX error, put the game in Windowed Mode, you can do this by, when in the Start Menu, press: Alt + Enter.
Now, go through the start menu and you should not have any error. (Copied off Reddit but worked me)

Thanks, was trying for hours and couldn't figure it out. For some reason my game crashed right when I turned on VSYNC, and then I wouldn't be able to start it. This made it so that I wasn't able to change the VSYNC back to off. Now I was able to turn it off and everything works great, thanks!

Nothing worked for me
1. disable overlay on the EA app in settings.
2. open the game and reduce your graphics to Low or medium most especially "Crowd"
3. Turn on Vsync
This worked for me I use RTX 2070s GPU. so depending on your graphics card.

2. open the game and reduce your graphics to Low or medium most especially "Crowd"
3. Turn on Vsync
4 apply and restart the game
This worked for me on both EAFC24 and FIFA 23. I use RTX 2070s GPU. so depending on your graphics card. Just lower stuff

The mistake i did i made my ea fc have 120 hz then my game crashed and i havent been able to play it since

Same, well I changed it to 120hz and now it crashes when it starts loading in, like not loading the game but loading in the main menu.
Ok I just fixed it just go into settings (The same ones in the vid he tells us to rename) and click overrideAutodetect and change the hertz

@@yoolov9917 No :( Someone told me they fixed it by factory resetting their entire PC but knowing my luck I’ll do it and it still won’t work

That's so frustrating! Another thing you could try is to use DDU to completely remove your GPU driver, then you can install it again from fresh. Check out our guide here: computersluggish.com/windows-tutorials/how-to-completely-uninstall-your-graphics-drivers-in-windows-10/
