Luz finally gets her Palisman named Stringbean, Emperor Belos possesses Raine while waiting on a new Grimwalker body, the Collector and King are at odds and so much more! Eda didn’t start to transform into the owl best because of the draining spell but because the collector turned the owl beast into a curse and thus the beast started to lash out in response to seeing the collector, look at era’s dream that lead up to her harpy form.

Eda resembling Evelyn gives even more context to why Belos was so set on her capture in Season 1. She wasn’t just a wild witch who refused to conform to his coven system: she looks like THE witch who “stole” his brother from him.
I want Eda and/or Lilith to make the Caleb connection in that season finale SO BADDDDDD.
But when did Belos mistake Luz for Evelyn tho?

Personally I don't think the collector is really knowingly a villain. Its a kid whos grown up with nobody around to keep him in the right path. I think Camila will notice this and try to take on a more motherly approach rather than "hey lets kill him!"
It's Belos who we still really have to Worry About.
They should've just stuck with Belos throughout the run. They wrote themselves into a corner killing him off and now we're left with a plank of wood
I think it’s kind of the opposite. From the look of the book, the collectors are supposed to collect things and preserve them and retaliate against anyone who tries to interfere, but this collector doesn’t want to hurt anyone. He’s spoiled like a child you could say and isn’t super considerate or aware of the consequences of his actions, but he doesn’t wish to do harm and just wants friends and people he can trust. So he’s not to keen on the violence collectors are meant to enact and just wants to play, unaware of the havoc his play can cause for other people.
@@christianboi7690 Could also be a case where he doesnt see the witches/demons on the same level as he and King are. He truely sees them as play things. He and King are essentially Gods, afterall.

I think back in “thanks to them”, when Vee was trying to drain Belos, she wound up actually doing something as Belos is now falling apart physically. Also, I like to think that the collector can just do straight up anything until proven otherwise or different.
I bet amity going to have an abomination form so when Luz got captured by Belos and think he was going to to win but then amity would transform into her abomination form saying like amity : 😡 give her back stay away from my sweet adorable Luz alone

I think Belos has just gone so long without absorbing any magic from the palisman that his (already unstable) form just can’t hold itself any longer. V absorbing more magic from him may have accelerated the process though
When Luz and her mom are looking at the skull in the hill, the archive castle kinda looked like a crown above the titan.
Specifically like a diadem, but yes those are technically a sub-type of crown.
It looks more like a halo than a crown.

I love how Camila and Luz are meant to be mother and daughter, they are really alike, they both like cute things like king, they both had tears when they first flew, and both of them are huge fantasy nerds, it’s so good how they show it.😅😂

Well if the theory of Luz being able to communicate with the Titan is true it wouldn't be that much of a stretch for one to pull her into the in-between realm to try and help her save king

My worse fear would be Collector turning all of Luz's friends into puppets, and she has to fight them all. Feel like their gearing up to have each of her friends fighting the puppet versions of their love ones, or maybe every puppet in the archives. No Idea what Belos end game is...he tried to possess the collector which means he thinks he can....Yeesh final hiatus is going to be rough.
It'll probably be in 3 or so months, October (November December January) (Jan, Feb, March) so maybe early/mid April? Maybe even April 1st thatd be hilarious
All I know is this series finale isn’t going to be like anything we’ve ever experienced and seen before…

belos may try to convince collector to do the "right thing" and wiping out every witch in the witch world...
I think the real reason Eda transformed into the Owl Beast while trying to rescue King is because seeing the Collector acted as a trauma trigger for the curse. Now that we know a little bit more about the Collector(s) and their mission to "preserve life", I'm starting to think that our Collector and the one who imprisoned the Owl Beast long ago are not one in the same. 🦉🌜
Maybe he can break the curse since he's a Collector too, kinda like how King could free him he could use his powers to free the Owl beast.
@@thetruekingofwaffles each of the collectors seems to have their own way of capturing/preserving life... the one that captured the owl beast turns them into scrolls/curses and this collector turns things into puppets.... we dont know if collectors can undo other collectors spells/curses

We never actually saw her in her prime since the most power she has shown was while the curse was draining her magic, imagine her fighting with her full magic against Belos maybe side by side with the actual owl beast and Lilith
Small inconsistency: Bellos took over the corpse of a previous grimwalker. That is why it decomposed around him and why the hand looked a bit moldy. He has been devouring and decaying everything he gets too close to, including Hunter.

Also the grimwalker in question was in one of the paintings in hollow mind
Why would he keep the decomposing body of a dead grimwalker? Also, when he leaves the body, Belos says it "isn't ready".

I’m surprised no one is talking about where the portal dropped off the group, it’s the exact same place where Eda found the door buried in the ground. You can see the same gated door in both shots.
So was Evelyn trying to give Caleb the door so they wouldn't have to keep using titan blood to power the gateway? After all, if a gateway already exists, why make a door or even mention the eye on the scroll for titan blood locations? I am guessing that Evelyn wanted to be closer to Caleb and made a portal that was connected to her lover's front door so she wouldn't have to go through the forest and be discovered by witch hunters.
His ‘grudge’ against Luz is a very interesting concept to me. It perfectly encapsulates his childishness and need for attention/approval (from King?). I would love for this show to conclude with Luz and the gang finally getting through to The Collector and subsequently adopting him into the owl family.
His better plan is probably trapping The Collector inside King himself or trapping both of them in the in between realm! Or maybe destroy The Collector all together I mean the unread part of the bedtime story King read to The Collector may have something to do with his plan possibly?

The plan was probably to share his own life experiences though, like it's clearly shown that king used to be very similar to the Collector and recognises that

Willow's incapability to control her plants when distressed is a great call back to her introduction and first meeting with Luz. Her plants grew and grabbed Luz after Amity bullied her.
(At 31:40) I don't think Kikimora is "comforting" Boscha. I think she's taking advantage of Boscha while she's vulnerable and heartbroken. Afterall Kikimora did planned on making all the students in Hexside into her "personal" army.
Would be nice if the collector turned her into a puppet. >:)

A few thoughts.
King might of convinced the Collector to let Lilith free on the pretext that she can tend to the Owl beast while they were away since she was injured.
As for how Hooty gaining some sentience, it could be that since Hooty is a demon born from the Titans magic, maybe they have some resistance to it or maybe the one talking is the inner Hooty inside Hooty's body which is horrific and funny.
Also a lot of this episode was basically therapy for Luz and her friends.
I feel like the reason eda's owl curse flared up was because the owl beast didn't want to go directly towards a collector after their last encounter with one.
The 5 things I really want to happen
1. The Luz collector theory
2. Lilith harpy form
3. Luz not having to say goodbye to Eda and king
4. Find out who bat queens owner was
5. Get some closure to Vee’s story
Also, no more palisman better die
The biggest thing I’m worried about is Luz’s memory photos because if one of them gets damaged, all of her memories in the Demon Realm could be destroyed like Willow’s

Speaking of which, I remember being unsure if the photo of Luz in braids was from her ear, or simply from her bag. I had similar with her Azura books, we see her with Vol 1, and the later the cover of #5, I assumed it was the same one and the animators just adjusted it. We had yet to confirm the 1st was a father's parting gift, so we might've questioned her going for it when she had others with her. Ultimately see by Ep 32 that she had all 5 - her bag must be as infinite as her pockets for glyphs.
That probably won't happen.

this made me think of something: what if Luz completely forgets about the demon realm and someone (one of the ppl we hate; Odalia, terra, ect) takes advantage of it.
LUZ palisman reveal to be a snake otter is literally the cutest thing since toothless the dragon
This episode was truly amazing. I loved every single moment. The birth of Luz's Palisman, Hunter having Flapjack's power, FREAKING BELOS posesing Raine was insane, Odalia being a slave was really funny and she deserved that. Dana and her crew did an amazing job. I am really excited for the finale!

Lilith calling King her nephew for the first time out loud made me feel unbelievably happy and also anxious.
I loved this episode so much, I’m still sad of the fact that it got leaked. And that the shows gonna end very very soon. I hope it gets as much love as the last episode did with everybody watching it on the original release date and watching the episode on the official TH-cam channel. It really needs it first especially to show Disney that the show is amazing and they made a mistake of shortening the series. I want belos to meet a terrible demise. I want to learn more about Caleb. I would love it if somehow, the Titan gave Luz some really cool power in the final fight. And I want everyone to get a happy ending. ❤❤❤

I hope the last episode gets leaked. This fanbase is so fucking annoying and comprised of people who want to feel smart for theorizing about a kid's show. A DISNEY kid's show at that.
When that goop dripped from Baine’s (Belos-Raine) eye I was thinking what if belos doesn’t actually eat away at raine until after they turns back to normal because they’re a puppet they don’t really have any flesh to be fed off of and he’s just using raine as a vessel to keep him together. I also noticed that when he was trying to possess the collector, the goop just started coming out of the slits in they’re fingers.
Intresting theory but just one thing. Raine uses they/them.

I like to think that stringbean and vee are just going be so adorable together and playing with each other by shapeshifting together.
Also eda's and raines theme also hurts because its just so mournful and i love it
I believe that Kikimora said the Collector is a "child *from* the stars," which is a key distinction.
I'm curious if this matters at all, but something I noticed is that the Collector's castle looks like a crown hovering over the Titan's skull. It may not play any major role at all.

Well Belos may have taken over Raine's body and manipulated the Collector again, but sooner or later in the last episode/special and Series Finale of the show, Luz, King and the rest of her friends will stop and destroy Belos once and for all.
At the same time, I also love Luz's new Palisman, Stringbean who is a Snakeshifter and I agree with Luz she is perfect.🐍
I feel like in the finale, when Belos reveals himself, Collector and Luz are going to have a heart to heart regarding feeling used. Luz still blames herself after all for what happened, and the Collector is just a traumatized space child that didn’t have anybody for who knows how long until Belos, so it stands to reason that they’d have a heart to heart regarding feeling manipulated.
I feel like Vee destabilized Belos, since Vee did absorb a lot of magic from Belos when he was possessing Hunter. Belos had absorbed a lot of palisman magic over the years, and that was what was keeping his form stable. Without it, he’s unable to keep himself together.
It also stands to reason that the palismen Belos absorbed had some sort of affect on his seeing the people he killed. I feel like the ghosts will pop up in the finale too, maybe in a Hunter Vs Belos showdown and Hunter getting backed up by his ancestors.
I almost CRIED when Luz said that all she wanted was to be understood :((
Here’s some things that I’m thinking:
-The portal door that the Hexsquad and Belos used to return to the Boiling Isles takes them to the Inbetween Realm first, and it’s also larger, and thus, isn’t portable. This hints that it was made first, before an portal door that takes you directly to the Human Realm and back that’s also portable is perfected.
-The mysterious figure in the Inbetween Realm is possibly the spirit of the Boiling Isles Titan, and he wants to directly communicate with Luz. It’s likely that the Titan’s spirit lingers on, and he senses that Luz is worthy of his glyphs, so he hands them to her like free candy and gives her access to the Inbetween Realm. And likewise, the Titan sensed Philip to be unworthy, and did everything in his power to keep them out of his hands.
-It’s possible that Belos fled after regenerating his monster form because he’s been weakened by the Collector’s attack, and months of palisman withdrawal. And Belos is a genius, he’s not gonna attack a bunch of kids who now have the upper hand against him. He’s gonna try to execute a plan to wipe out all witchkind, instead of kill only a few witches, at absolute best.
-Odalia most likely struck a deal with the Collector, so he wouldn’t puppetize her. She’s trying to manipulate him, but the Collector is too simpleminded for her to manipulate, all he wants to do is play games. Belos was able to manipulate the Collector, because he was imprisoned, but as the Collector now has everything he wants, Odalia can’t manipulate him.
-Kikimora really is going on her Eggman arc. She’s still evil, but she knows not to trust Belos.
-I’m sure that the Titan-Collector War wiped out a vast majority of the Titans, and all of the Collectors except for The Collector. Hence why he’s known as “The Collector”, because he’s the only living member of his race left, because the Boiling Isles Titan couldn’t bring himself to killing a child, so he sealed him away.
-Belos choosing Raine over Odalia makes sense. Nobody would hesitate to attack a possessed Odalia, but Raine’s Eda’s lover, and the heroes would have to find a way to force Belos out without killing Raine. Belos is hoping to possess the Collector, which is something I’m calling, because Belos is desperate, he doesn’t have 400 more years to plot and set up. He is surrounded by people who want him dead, and his body is failing, he needs a fast and drastic solution.

Also adding onto your titan-thoughts, King's a literal child of a titan and was protected as an egg according to his backstory - meaning that titans do indeed care about children, whether their own, or, in this case, others'

Belos is freakin overall pissed right now, with most of his anger aimed at Luz.
After learning of the collectors backstory, I'm starting to think he actually wasn't upset that belos dipped on him, his power was just out of control at that moment.
I hope other collrctors aren't appeared in the third special will come that in april 8

I can see the Collector destroying Belos after figuring out he lied to him yet again in the most brutal way a cartoon has ever killed off a character.
Personally, I think Belos is going to end up taking himself down or better yet Caleb is going to take him down. We saw those ghosts Belos was seeing maybe they’ll come for him at the end
I really hope that’s what happens. It would be the least he deserves.

I feel like Phillip is finally feeling guilty after killing his brother and once he saw Caleb’s ghost looking at him disappointed, it made Phillip blame Caleb like everyone goes once they feel bad for what they done but they blame it on others. After everything Philip did it’s finally getting to him. I see why King’s dad locked up the collector cause of their powers and because of the war that happened before, along with protecting his son in the process.
Not to mention that part where Boscha tried to make Amity stay her friend and beg her to stay around and for things to go back to how they were before made me cringe since I was the same, trying to make things go back to how they were and being stuck in the past clinging on to happier times when in reality it never helped same with my attachment issues as well but I’ve learned to move on and be a better person for myself and for others and stoping my toxic ways. I love how Luz finally got her palism and she finally understands that all she wanted was too be understood.
I love how Gus and the others told Willow that it’s ok to let everything out and not keep your emotions in since it’ll only hurt more and I had a huge asthma attack when Hunter and Willow held pinkies!!!
27:15 boscha begging to amity gave me flashbacks to jasper and lapis from when jasper kneeled down begging lapis to come back to her. This show is crazy I love it
I love the collectors character, a child who doesn't recognize the chaos he's causing, all he wants to do is have fun with friends and play games, and he does so.. but hurts people while hurting them, and belos tricked him to hurt Luz and co, and also collecter is just adorable, the raine song moment he's so happy, just look at his face after he spinned
I'm pretty sure Caleb and the Golden Guards aren't actually ghosts, they're hallucinations induced by Belos' near death state and some old memories brought back in Thanks to Them
Even if I should be scared for these characters, I cannot help but laugh at how easily The Collector is being fooled by Belos, who pretty much proved that he was lying to him again.
He doesn’t know it’s Belos though. He thinks it’s Raine who’s retained sentience.
Belos is honestly a master manipulator. I would be impressed if I weren't so disgusted

Speaking of ghost, I'm kinda hoping that Caleb and Evelyn would in some form take part in the final battle. Whether if just brief flashes or them having full on speaking rolls, I want to see them interact.

All that’s left for Luz now is to tell Belos that she is the good witch Luzura, the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles.
I hope Stringbean defends her owner Luz and the others from the Collector in the beginning of his ultimate new game, also i hope the Collector doesn't manage our six heroes into puppet or destroyed
I was so suprised by the ending of the special. 🤯 Just when The Collecter said that he wanted to play a NEW Game, I'm starring to wonder what the game could be. 🤔 I guess I'll have to wait until April of this year for the Series Finale to find out the New Game The Collecter is gonna play. I can't believe you released the "For the Future" Breakdown early, Vox.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE STRINGBEAN DO SOME ACTION IN THE SERIES FINALE! 💥 I think Belos will be defeated with the power from Good Witch Luz by the end of the Final Battle. I hope that his death can't be too Brutal.
I think The Owl House logo for the finale will be a mixture of Sliver and Violet to Represent Some Magical Powers for Luz. I would love to see some action of "King vs The Collector" and "Luz vs. Belos" in the last episode. 🤩

Since the owl beast got killed by one of the collectors
The book king was reading from is the guide/rule book for collectors but he’s a young kid who for some reason all the collectors before him aren’t there to mentor him. Kinda like how king is the last titan. Both are young but both had two different people who raised them. One was used as a tool and the other was loved /nurtured.
What if the other collectors were the ones that trapped this one? They were dying out apparently so maybe they collected him as they would any other life form. The magic binding him looked pretty collector-y. It also parallels kings story with his dad hiding him.
This was a great episode. So much has happen and is setting up for the grand finale. If I would have to take a guess of how it would go:
The episode continues right where it last off
Luz and the others find a way to get inside without getting caught
Luz reunites with Eda and King and introduces them to Camila and String bean
Amity confronts Odalia one more time
A battle between Collector and Luz happens until she tells him that Belos is back
The collector tells the group his origins
The collector frees everyone who were turned into puppets
The final battle begins
Luz tells Belos to “Eat this sucker”
Belos dies
The Isles goes back to normal
Luz and Camila say goodbye or in this case, see you later, because they built a new portal door
We get a timeskip
And the final scene is a Lumity wedding

I'm hoping that since Raine is a puppet, their current lack of flesh is saving them from Bellos' eating habits. Assuming that's why he went for one of the toys and not the walking bag of butt
The theory that the titan in the middle realm between earth and the demon realm is the giant titan aka kings father makes perfect sense. The way he is guiding Luz to learn the glyphs would make sense since he doesn't seem like a bad guy. Even Belos said that it seems like the titan didn't want him to learn the glyphs earlier than he should (he said it during the fight with Luz in the finale). Seems to me that the titan is giving Luz the knowledge earlier so she can be the one who is ready to fight Belos when she goes off to face him
As much as I get not liking the misunderstanding trope and honestly I'm not a huge fan of it myself, I do think they set it up really well with King and Collector constantly disagreeing and this push and pull that is their "friendship" if you can even call it that. My biggest take was how Emperor bellos was still haunted by the ghost of his dead brother, and the second thing was how the collector was imprisoned.

When Belos crushed a Collector faced butterfly, I think that their was a palistrom tree in the background. A large stump, with a small tree that likely planted by Eda from her dad. Makes sense to be near his hideout given his palisman consumption and grimwalkers
My first thought when I saw the collectors planet-bedroom was ‘the little prince’, especially the animated version, and the space theme just adds to that.
Ok ok ok.I just gotta say that the scene between Luz and Camilla made me cry. I watched this episode like 3 times since it got leaked and was just waiting for everyone else to see it properly so I could scream about it.
I sobbed because of how I related to her too much. There are many aspects that I can feel and semi-relate to, like I'm a massive nerd but I'm not really an outcast, and I also see a lot of myself in her in neurodivergent sense. But really regarding a lot of my struggles and conditions that I have, wanting to be understood was something I didn't even know what was what I wanted all along, but like Luz that is exactly how I feel too. Broke my heart.
I really hope we get to see Caleb and bellos' backstory in full

Im pretty sure he can just control anything but most of them are inefficient or become way too damaged when he goes in them like how hunter has more scars or older hunter who just decomposed when he started to move but the puppets can't be damaged from the possession or don't become as hurt from it so he can move as freely as he wants

I feel like at some point in ep3, King would start crying due to sadness and a tone of stress and then the collector would start to feel bad. The collector would then try to make King feel better and then would lead to the Collector to realize that Rain is being possessed by belos. They would then destroy Belos and all that.
I just realized... our collector is Pink Diamond, and the rest of the collectors are the rest of the diamonds. but instead of trying to redeem the space tyrants like SU, they're just focused on redeeming PD into RQ. The collector is just PD before she was given Earth.

I guess I kind of figured the whole retaining sentence thing was still there, because the owl beast that was transformed into the school still had sentience, so I guess it would make sense why the puppets would have sentient as well. Also, maybe this collector can help with the whole owl curse. Considering that it was a collector that transformed the owl beast into a scroll maybe this collector can reverse the effects.

Plus I dislike the framing of the first ep framing luz action as misunderstood rather than a menece. There is nothing wrong with camila not standing by her as she release snakes and spiders upon the school and got forced into a boring camp.
That scene where Bellos literally uses a half finished Grimwalker was mega dark, loved it!

Camila with a glyph bat would defiantly be cool to see but I would like to see Eda and Lilith both in Harpy mode as Eda could’ve taught Lilith how to do it and it’d just be so cool to see them both kick ass like that.

If i'm honest i belive that the owl beast reaction to the colector at the begining of the special is for what we saw in Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door (s2e8) with the cameo of the colector in eda's pov, you know the owl beast was capture by one of the possibly many colectors
King and the Collector's relationship reminded me of the classic The Twilight Zone episode “It’s a Good Life.” The plot of that is a child has godlike powers so all the adults pander him. If they make him mad, he turns them all into toys or banishes them. The entire point is to try and have a ‘good day’ with the boy so none of them are hurt. That episode and this one are way too similar to not be on purpose.
I personally don't like the idea of all the Collectors being wiped out, they could still be out there somewhere or sealed away. Who's to say that the collector that the Titan hunters were going to free was the child collector. If there are owl house spinoffs I think they could play a big role.
Someone on a TH-cam video mentioned that the coven witches are possessed by “multiple collectors” It got me thinking that when Belos possessed Raine, he actually possessed a collector that was possessing Raine. Belos is going after the other collectors that are possessing the coven witches so he can turn himself into a God and kill everyone in the demon realm and possibly the human realm.
Well that theory I'm pretty sure is false, he aint the writer, Dan is.
Fun detail about Bump's statue, it'ms actually made to mimic "Lord Calamity" aka Eda's portait in the detention homeroom's secret hideout. It also calls him "Princy B" which is Eda's name for him. Even with her gone, Eda is everpresent at Hexisde
it was seen among the paintings in the mansion that the collector has a family... could it be that those supposed images of Luz possessed by the collector is actually that the collector has a sister identical to Luz?

Did anyone else notice that the place where they came through to the boiling isles looks like the area where Eda found the portal door briefcase thing in that one flashback we saw where/how she found it while running away from her mother?
I think it’s bc it’s related to Evelyn and Caleb and that’s where they buried/hid the portal and the place on earth had their hidden stash of titans blood as well
I pity the Emperor. He's blaming everything that happened on his brother, Caleb, whom he killed; you can see a bloodied dagger above Caleb's head, showing the damage done. You can also see that the specter looks at Belos like he is judging him, or he might be disappointed by what his brother became. Belos might hear the voices from those he murdered, from Caleb and including the grimwalker clones that came before Hunter. This is implied when Belos tells them to "shut up." Still, he wants to complete his mission, by manipulating the Collector into thinking Luz and company are trying to ruin his fun.
Belos is still gonna go down to the depths of hell in the series finale.
OK 4 Things 1. Fun fast when a person is dying they start to hallucinate like Belos/Philip when he start to see hallucinations seeing his older brother Caleb Wittebane and the grimwalkers versus of him that Belos/Philip made and 2. Belos/Philip guardian angel can’t no longer protect him anymore and if anyone off you are wondering who is Belos/Philip guardian angel it is his brother Caleb Wittebane and 3. I can’t wait to see episode 3 “Watching And Dreaming” coming out in April and 4. Did anyone of you heard about there might be a Season 4 of The Owl House coming out in next year of 2024 do anyone of you believe that.
Not necessarily a theory, but I think the next episode is going to begin with a flash back to Caleb and Philips fight giving us some context to the full story with the owl house logo having some belos goo tint to it

I find there's similarities between the collector and Pink Diamond. Both are younger so they just want to play and make friends while the rest of their kind creates destruction to other life forms.
When belos posseses someone, they get horribly scarred, so what does that say about the scar Hunter already had on his cheek all through season 2?

I believe in the finale, Luz and the Collector are going to fight and he’s going to deliver the “Killing Blow” which will send Luz into that in between world where she’ll talk with a Titan, hopefully Kings dad, and learn the secret to how to make everything better before returning to the Boiling Isles.
Our Main hero can't really die though, Disney wouldn't allow that.
