The Owl House has just concluded its third and final season with the series finale: Watching and Dreaming! Not only did we see theories get confirmed with Titan Belos, Titan Luz and a timeskip, but we got a lot of closure with these characters! While we're cooking up on a breakdown, here's a video dedicated to explaining the ending!

At the end of the episode I was crying for like 30 min because them saying goodbye and Dana Terence saying "Nothing Lasts Forever" 😭😭😭😭
if the archivists fear what can hurt them why didn’t they try to stop bellows when he Took over the Titan dead body if the Titans are the only ones that can stop them

It's okay we are all still coming off from the excitement from the Owl House final so its all good I hope you had a good Easter and Loved the final episode of the Owl House because I sure did. I am sad to see the Owl House series go but I hope there will be some spin-off's or a sequel but what I am more hoping for is that if Dana Terrace is in talks with Disney, Square Enix or Tetsuya Nomura of putting the Owl House series into the Kingdom Hearts Universe and become a recurring world such as Olympus Coliseum. Me and a lot of fans from both series would love to see Luz, Eda and Amity be party members for Sora while they travel around the Boiling Isles fighting heartless there. Also King could be a summon for Sora and it wouldn't be that hard to draw an association between Belos and the Heartless too.
I hope you guys at The Roundtable makes a video about this and get the word out or ask Dana Terrace about it.
P.S hoping for Amphibia too with Anne, Sasha and Marcy as party memebers.
2 details I absolutely love:
If you look close at when Luz dies and King goes rage mode, he casts a Glyph bubble similar to the one Luz uses in her titan form. However, unlike Luz's bubble, King's uses his unique glyph set, including the Light Glyph he draws at the end of the episode.
Also, there's an interesting bit of dramatic irony in Belos's death scene. He specifically says the line "We're humans. We're better than this." in the moment where neither of them are actually truly human.
So the Hexsquad and amity use a light glyph to turn normal
I wonder if they can upload and reveal the real designs of Hexsquad and Camilla as puppets to see their faces and whole body when they’re cute cover in stars sun and moon
It is actually soooo cool that the titans have their own glyphs!! It's like their own magic finger print!!

Not to be rude but it's not dramatic irony, it's simply pure irony, dramatic irony is when the audience knows something that the characters don't
One of my favorite details in the finale was the fact that Eda's school of wild magic was build on the tree coming from the seed her father gave her as a sign of forgiveness

The final scene with Belos really sums up how he can never accept anything being his fault. He takes the form of Phillip and claim he was cursed to be this way to play on Luz's empathy. But, the boiling rain burns away his deception and Luz just stays quiet staring at him just as Caleb did. Because there really is nothing left to say.

I'll be honest I was half expecting Luz or anyone else to say something along the lines of "I'd say may you rot in Hell Phillip... but it seems you're already halfway there." with them completely outa fucks to give for the sob!

The problem with Caleb is we have no idea what the hell their dynamic was.

The thing that hurt me the most in The Owl House ending is; King never got to meat his dad, King couldn’t tell him “I loaf you, too.”

I started crying when the Collector started crying and I didn't stop until the end. I think it was a great ending. I'm glad Dana decided to spare us and give us a happy one 😂
That was one of the most emotional moments in the show, for him to learn the lesson of how final death is for mortals.

Loved it and I cried at the Luz death scene, especially after Collector asked “Where did she go?”
Imagine if after Hexsquad are too late to see Luz Eda and king explain about her sacrifice and they would cry

Things I wished we got:
-the archivists being revealed
-Philips backstory
-more on the coven heads
-more time in the human world
-beach episode
-a deeper explanation on the owl in edas body
-the realm that the titan was in
-more on winter ship
-one more season
Despite all of this, I enjoyed this show and hope they continue it in some form.
i would also love a final confrontation between belos and hunter but i understand why they left it out

I found it poetic that Belos was stomped to death by people that he thought of as lesser. For the longest time he had them under his heel, now he's under their's as his final moments of life.
I get what you mean, but I also think that’s not quite right. He was scared of them. Belos admitted in this episode that Raine has always been “annoyingly powerful”, and the whole reason he wanted to capture Eda for so long was because he felt threatened by her power. Still, it definitely was “extremely satisfying”😉

@@cheeselol-b5m I think it was him trying to convince himself that they weren’t dangerous, because he absolutely had to be the most powerful, sort of a god complex if you will. He might’ve seen them as inferior but deep down he was most likely terrified.
I do get him thinking witches in general as lesser scum, but there’s no denying he was acutely aware and scared of their power.
Also he wasn’t even killed by magic. He was killed by rain and Raine and Eda and King who stomped him! He didn’t even get a satisfying ending for himself. But oh boy! Raine eda king and Luz and all of us were satisfied
I don't know, in my opinion Belos' death was kind of underwhelming. I feel like they should have drawn it out just a bit more and have him get increasingly desperate for a bit longer. And personally I feel like the stomping didn't quite fit, I don't know I feel like if they had just looked at him and turned their back on him to show that he's not even worth it would have been even more poetic and just really shatter what was left of his God complex
I'm actually disappointed that we didn't get more information about Caleb and Evelyn I find their story so interesting I would have loved to get to know his character he's probably a lot like hunter.
Me too, but ik it wasn’t Dannas fault. She said she had a hooty backstory episode written out and a lot more, but Disney decided to be an absolute idiot and cancel a show that was bringing them a lot of money. I’m sure If we would of gotten a full series we would of had an episode dedicated to Caleb and Evelyn.

FUN FACT! The first word in the titles of season 3s episodes make a fun little message when put together that says “THANKS FOR WATCHING!” They knew this season was cut short but knew the fans still waited for it with love and support!

I actually liked that King's magic has brought glyphs back. The idea of Luz and King getting stronger together as they continue to grow is so perfect
The fact his light glyph is different, made me think that perhaps the glyphs are different for every Titan (admittedly Edge of the World provides some issues)

Papa Titan being alive meant his glyphs still worked. Glyphs also need Titan magic to work, but they don't necessarily need the same titan's magic.
@@kodahansen8080 wouldn't they though? since papa titan's glyphs no longer worked after finally fully passing away, that lends to the idea that it Does matter what titan glyphs work with which titan
The line “ now eat this sucker!!” Has so much dramatic weight with the excellent delivery of the line to the stellar animation, and the callback to the first scene of the first episode. Also the main the,e playing during the action is incredible. I need to know how this show went from “young girl finds a magic world and discovers herself” to “ young girl and her godlike family destroy the incarnation of evil”
Episode 1 s1: it's ok to be weird!
Episode3 s3: fight the evil goo tyrant who now has god power
Also a lot of shows are like that
I think that this episode confirmed that King is the most important character in The Owl House. Luz being an older sister to King is the whole reason that she was able to learn Glyph Magic. Not to mention that since his dad has passed on, now King's in control of the new Glyphs.
King is a true king & queen, best of both things, after all ^^ we love the lil guy so much

My only thought throughout this entire episode was that it could have been so much more. The nightmare sequence itself could have been its own episode, and a lot of the moments could have been stretched out. This episode made me truly realize how much the cut actually hurt this show
It really did and it makes me so sad I hope one day they can make more or maybe even make graphic novels showing how they wanted it to progress with the ending that the creator actually envisioned as a screenwriter myself this is my worst nightmare as u spend so much time making and developing the world and characters u love so I hope they can make more content for this show
As much of I loved what Dana and her team were able to do for this finale along with the 3 specials we were given, I'll never forgive Disney for cutting the whole 3rd season we originally would've gotten. Like consider what could've happened if we've gotten 20 whole episodes.
While that sounds like a good plan on paper I don’t think it would work

I cried in the finale, the happy ending, everyone growing up, and lumity is still together. I give thanks to Dana Terrence.
Finally, now Disney can get better shows on their network

The series feels so cut short, but simultaneously complete?? There’s obvs so much more that can be done in this amazing world Dana created, but TOH crew managed to wrap the series off so incredibly despite the circumstances ❤
Oh yeah Dana and Co deserve all the praise they got screwed but still managed an amazing and satisfying conclusion
It isn't completed in my opinion. There are still a lot of loose storylines that haven't been addressed. I hope we will get to see them in a spinoff.

I love the ending so much, Belos getting stomped to death makes me smile. I sobbed seeing the group get Flapjack tattoos, I'm definitely getting one at some point.
I am curious what they did with the Golden Guard skeletons and if they buried what was left of Caleb.

Pretty sure those were the bodies he was using for his constant need to possess a new body, due to the host degrading over time with the corrupted titan magic.
I was disappointed with the fact that it wasn’t Hunter who inflicted the final hit on Belos, but I suppose him getting his rib cage ripped out and then him getting melted to death by acid rain was tastier than the sour candy I chomped during the whole episode.
Honestly couldn't have asked for a better ending to the show (except for if they actually let it run the full length). There are so many little things about this that I loved, and I can't wait for the full breakdown. I hope you point out the tie between Vee's shirt and Gus's exchange program symbol, I thought that was a really cool touch.
Also, please include the Titan's 'king and queen' speech. Does he mean King doesn't have a mom cause Titans don't need two parents to reproduce, or is it more of them not identifying as either, or as both genders? I'd like to hear thoughts on that😊
I'm seriously so upset Disney for cutting this incredible show short, I can tell they had so much planned that they had to combine in the form of a montage. I really hope we get something more either in the form of a book or whatever they decide. I cried so much at the end, this show meant so much to me and my partner. Thank you for the memories, BYYYYYYYEEEEE.💜✨
honestly we need a epilogue.(at least i thing they should do it.)not one at the end of a episode but a episode itself.

Honestly the weirdest thing is that when they were given limited time after S1 ended they started wasting it all on focusing on Hunter doing literally nothing instead of doing the actual show or story.

While I was a little sad that Eda and Lilith never had their curse removed, I'm also glad they didn't. It's a great way to show that we have things happen to us, either mental or physical, that may prevent us from doing the things we used to love. While it's initially depressing, we learn to cope and find new ways of living and new interests to pursue.
The same goes for Eda's hand. In the past I would have been sure a show would just 'fix up' the character after they get the big season-final drama out of the injury, but the owl house was never scared to leave their characters with battle scars. Things are never going back to how they used to be, even when the good guys finally win

Not a very satisfying allegory for a disability if it gets cured. Harpy Eda is the resolution of her curse.
I'm going to miss The Owl House what a great show and ending too it. The 4 year time jump was a nice and heartwarming way to see where and what characters are doing now. Honestly my favourite one was Eda being a headteacher of her own school and I'm glad seeing Luz and Amity are still together. Plus Luz has still been in contact with her love ones in Demon realm when she was still in school on earth. Happy ending all around !🤧
All the Owl House managed to do was copy a better show: Amphibia
What's nice about the time jump is the fact that Luz STILL visited the Isles AND went home during that time.
This means she used the confidence she learned from Hexside to help her out at Gravesfield High, as seen by her Writer's Scholarship. I'm so glad she got to keep BOTH places in her life

i’m kinda really sad that the crew and camila didn’t play a big role in the end episode. espically how hunter didn’t get to see belos’ death. in general there was SO much more that i wish happned and dana was able to explore, but considering everything that happened, this was insanely well done and so incredible
I think the acid rain was also sybmolic of how Luz has understood the Isles and became a part and a true friend of that word, versus Belos who only hated the isles and only learned what he wanted to see motivated by the hate. He never really cared about any of it. He claimed he wanted to "rescue" the locals but obvio they never asked him for his "help" and later on while unaliving Flapjack Belos literally says he does not care about any of them. Thus to me the rain seems to be the world taking back its freedom through Luz, but she is a part of that word now too (also literally due to the connection with the titan at the time). Pretty cool stuff.
The entire Luz's "death" scene had me in tears. Especially when the Collector finally realized what death really means to mortals, and that he couldn't fix her when she "broke". You know the part where he asks "What is this stuff? Why won't it stop?" The first time seeing this, I thought he was talking about Belos' corruption blight, but I now I feel more like he was talking about his tears, as it's the first time he ever felt grief. Another example of the incredible writing on this show.
He was indeed talking about his tears. I don't think he ever got to the point of tears because he was probably bottling everything up and escaping the reality like some of us do. I think it was when he opened up about what happened to him, combined with Luz talking to him about Death and bonding with him that really got to him. Probably because he was starting to get what he always wanted. Friends. True friends and a person/people who TRY to understand him and gently teach him things. Like you said, he didn't realize he couldn't fix her when she 'Broke'. When he realized that, he tried to both bury and get some form of confirmation from Eda by asking 'Where did Luz go?'. Eda and King going into grief rage probably adds another nail in the coffin for it. Since they weren't responding and then when he saw the corruption climbing onto them he tried to get it off of them because he SAW Luz disappeared from it and since he couldn't bring her back, knew he couldn't do it for them either. That had to scare him because he was afraid of losing what he had just gained.

I think the reason he was unable to use any of his power so close to Belos was because 1. He'd been infected by holding onto Luz. 2. If his powers couldn't affect a titan, then being literally inside a titan coming back to life aka Belos the titan, he was surrounded and immersed in titan magic. It wasn't until Luz took them above titan Belos that he could even use his star ride.
And to think Kings Tide's had me haunted for 10 months
i did not like that scene,actually. that one felt so.. rushed,i dunno. I felt there was too little time between the purgatory scene. Also king-dad had like two lines. the Finale feels so rushed to me,to the point where i felt nothing while watching it. I was just like "yeah,sure". The first two episodes were so good,and this was just.. dissapointing

A lot of Disney TVA shows had characters saying BYEEEE!!! Amphibia, Star Vs, Gravity Falls and now The Ghost and Molly McGee! I'm surprised DuckTales didn't have Dewey or Louie saying this!

The second I saw Hunter carving and had found a mentorship with Edas dad and a new palisman....I started bawling like Hooty. I just started sobbing so hard. I dont know if it was the maternal side of me or the big sister side of me or what but god a wave of relief for the boy. I was so happy for him.
The second I saw the carving I just knew that was Hunter. And when I saw Waffle, I don't even know how to explain that one. I was so happy!

I love how they left The Collector's Castle 🏰 as like a crown on the Titan's Skull. And I will always want more. Those Archivists are still out there. The grimwalker lab can't be done... And I want to see how powerful Belos was during his rule as Emperor. I want to see the power that was taught to him, by Collector.

I'm still really curious about the origins of Hunter.
I remember on a stream 2 years back Zeno (the VA for Hunter) said that he and Dana wanted a “Golden Guard Spin-off” since we Didnt know that Hunter was the Golden Guard’s Name at The Time i think it couldve worked as either a spin-off for Hunter or maybe a prequel anthology series about the past failed Golden Guards, shame we’ll never get to see it (maybe one day😭🤞)

@@apdroidgeek1737 by the looks of it the titans they killed where most likely babies, although the bigger ones could’ve died if they where hunted one by one. So a single Titan could die against many archivists. Another thing to consider is that the Archivist and the Collector are in two different power levels, I’m assuming that just like the titans the archivist magic becomes stronger the more they grow
Willow got buff and I am here for it! She looks awesome! That sakuga in the fight against Belos was soooo good! I loved the callback to the first episode.
This show has been a HUGE inspiration to me, the animation, the voice acting, it’s all been so well done here. It’s extremely disappointing that Disney decided to end it so soon, but I hope that there’s still plenty more to come out, and I’d be more than excited to see Fan made content revolving around this world
That’s the issue, Dana left Disney back in March so the odds we get anymore material is slim, even a comic.
I’m glad we got the finale we did, as it still felt like an ending and left the characters in a good place despite the show being shortened
Many other shows that got cancelled didn’t even get that luxury
The ending was so heartwarming. The fact that Lumity's still together, Hunter has a new Palismen and is with Willow, just everything. It's sad that The Owl House was cut short, but we can be glad it happened. So..

lets just appreciate that in the final scene, Darius takes Odalia's (i don't care if I spelled her name wrong) space
Dana also said shw wanted to make q hunter spin off, so hopefully we get a book about hunter, and maybe caleb. Because we really need to know if caleb was a clawthorne, it just makes sense even the ending makes it make more sense.
I remember a friend of mine realizing that Odalia was nowhere to be seen in the epilogue popped off so hard! One thing she said being, "I can't believe we got the Divorce Speed-Run!"

Even though it's sad that TOH is finally over, I was satisfied with the ending! It was a real treat getting to see the characters aged up and everything that they had accomplished in life!!!
I just wish we could have seen if Vee and Masha are still together and if they know about the Demon Realm. Luz and Vee needed more bonding Siblings moments and it would be nice to see more of Gravesfield, this Town could still hold many secrets.
Just came into the show. One moment I enjoyed was simple, quick, but well delivered. The reaction to Luz's revival.
Eda, King, and the Collector are besides themselves. Collector's own first words are "she can't be" indicating that this is a level of power and magic not even he thinks is right. Eda and King are still in their full raged transformations. But Luz being Luz she tries so hard to make the grand entrance that she embarrasses herself. It's that tiny bit of humanity that restores Eda and King faith that it's not a trick and that everything is going to be okay.
12:39 I personally took the “Exchange Program” to be witches learning to fit in with the human world, with Gus being the perfect teacher for this since he was learning human culture since he was a kid
First episodes of Owl House that happened during final 2 months of Steven Universe Future. After 3 years, Luz finally got the power to be a witch and defeat Belos.

Luz finally revenge Caleb, Flapjack, the Grimwalkers, Witches and Demons of the Boiling Isles
my favorite part about the finale was when Luz died and the Collector was confused on where she went, Eda understood that she was going to loose control and told the The Collector to back up so that she didn't accidentally hurt him. it was just perfect, as it wasn't her yelling at him to move, just nicely telling him so that he wouldn't get hurt. Eda as a headmaster is perfect, as she now has tons of kids to help through their years
Small detail I noticed - the animation got real smooth for a scene in the epilogue, when Hunter and Willow were sliding down the hill. Clearly, this moment was important and they could spare no expense :P
I loved it, of course there were things I wish we could have seen, but it was amazing. The only thing I am genuinely upset about not seeing was some closure with Caleb’s ghost
It's sad to see the show go (even tho it was only 3 seasons) but this ending is beautiful. And I can't get over Luz's Titan Form! Looks awesome
Imagine if amity can get a new form too of an abomination form when Luz gets taken away or get separated some abomination slime grew into amity half of her face belong to battle

That was an Amazing ending. I cried, laughed, and cheered, Dana did everything she could to bring this story to us, and despite the obstacles, she managed to make it really great! Thank you Dana for giving us this wonderful show. Bless her soul and her crew! 10/10 would watch it again
I happen to agee, since my interpretation too is that Luz actively caused the rain to finally put an end to Belos once and for all. And the complete lack of mercy from her was fantastic to see, since it really drives home that some people really are irredeemable, and that they not only don't deserve kindness or forgiveness, but that they have to be put down to keep them from harming anyone else.
I like how on 11:55 Dana Terrace appears. (It's not officially confirmed that it's her i think) She's even wearing her glasses and the owlbert pin which are so cute! We also get to see what tracks would she be in if she was in that universe (thought its not confirmed by Dana herself) which would be oracle and beast keeping. I also find it poetic how Miss Jenkinmeyer (i had to look her name up) is patting her on the shoulder like she's was saying 'good work Dana'.

this finale was so powerful it made me cry 3 times. It was an amazing end to an amazing show and I will always keep the owl house close to my heart. Thankyou for all the Wonderful Memories and Magical Moments Owl House.
I was glad the Collect got to go though point of powerlessness, forcing him to understand morals more, seeing him confused at crying and trying to keep King and Eda from fighting as he didn't want them to disappear really tugs at the heart strings

I'm SO glad you pointed out the baseball photo with Hooty because I was sad to see hooty only hug onto Lillith. I know they're best friends and that Eda, King and luz haven't always been the nicest to Hooty, but they love him. And I know he loves them too.
I REALLY wanted to see the older collector if he could or if it would’ve took longer for him to age but other then that the episode was amazing!!
I absolutly loved Luz' design during the climax. Just wish she got to keep some of it like the hair and tooth. I mean, she literally died, and King's father had to remake her body for her. Plus, the amount of magic she had flowing through her should have left permanent mutations, much like the scars Belos would leave behind on the people he possessed.
Yes, Titan Luz is an interesting look. I'm not convinced she died thought. My interpretation of the death scene is that because of her kindness to king, Titan had chosen to help Luz by rescue her before she was killed and bring her to the word between relms, hence the glow and transformation into balls of light. To Luz's friends, it would have looked like she had died. I think it acts like a timeout, giving Luz a chance to think, and realise that you need the power of a titan to defeat a titan. It's like the turning of the tide; where all hope seems lost and defeat seems inevitable but a single event changes everything. you can see it in history, ww1 - the sinking of an American passenger passenger linear that resulted in America entering the war or ww2 Pearl Harbour, Battle of Britain and Midway. You see it in fiction; lord of the rings - the battle for helms deep or Harry Potter for example. As I posted elsewhere; the Luz death/return scenes reminds me of the end of Harry Potter where he gets hit by the killing curse; wakes up in a strange place; talks to Dumbledore; returns to reality; defeats Voldemort with th help of friends.
I loved the last episode of The Owl House it was beautifully animated and I love how they did a call back from a bread pun where kings dad said I loaf you rip flapJack 😢

I didn't notice this before, but the tree where the Wild Magic University is, looks like a Palistrom tree. I think this is a tree grown from the seed that Eda's father gives her when they reunite and finally resolve the past. I love that even little details like that get resolved.
In FtF, when Belos crushed that butterfly, there's a stump in the background that I feel is Palistrom. The ripped ends are swirled like the seeds pattern, and it had an angular knot hole resembling an interlock. Plus it's close to Philip's hideout where he made grimwalkers and consumed for himself. There was also a small tree within the stump that I thought was what Eda planted.
@@vincentmorris8431 I didn't notice that before! It looks like that is a possibility, but I'm not sure when Eda would have planted it there? It would be nice, like she wanted to plant a new tree from one that was cut down by Belos. A very Wild Witch idea :)

I think it's crazy how Disney made 2 of the best isskais with amphibia and the owl house it's insane and these will be missed hopefully we get another show like this
This episode was so well written, you could have never watched a single episode and just jumped into the final to be blown away.

If you look at Luz's shirt in the epilogue, she actually has the shirt from the TOH pilot!! What a way to contribute to the beginning of The Owl House. Love this show!!
(AWESTRUCK VOX PLS SEE THIS) 3:24 that’s exactly what I said while watching the finale last night! The Collectors’ and Spinels’ backstory matches with both characters being abandoned for decades, resulting in them both developing separation anxiety and their beliefs on what it means to be a true friend being scrambled 🤯 and they both end up being reassured by the main character of their shows about what it truly means to be a friend. Leading to the end, they both get a turn-around and help the protagonists in saving the world and cleaning up their mistake. Finally, they journey off to work on themselves and their values of friendship because the main character MAKES THEM WANNA TRY ⬅️ (SU reference) I love this! And obviously both stories differ a bit because Spinel was left to be alone immediately, whereas The Collector found friends in the Boiling Isles, before their existence being wiped away by the Archivists
There is always one thing I enjoy seeing from any animated series, when the animation suddenly gets smooth like butter. It is just so satisfying to watch. This one will be amongst my favorites with the Steven fusion in SU's Finale.

This finale was as close to perfect as we could possibly get. And the fact that they pulled it off despite the overwhelming odds is only gonna make it even more famous as time goes by.
I did like how the owl house ended🤩but there was still A LOT that hasn’t been deeply explored or answered such as How did Eda meet Hooty, More info about Philip’s past, Healing the curse(Where did the curse come from), The abandoned house(Is it the only location to teleport to the Boiling Isles), The history of Gravesfield, The collectors, and what happened to other titans, Who did the Bat Queen belong to? What resulted in Darious and Alador’s conflict(Did this have something to do with Odalia)? So many questions unanswered, so little time to expand these plot points…. Good job Disney……

I think i can answer one of the questions. The curse came from the Archivist, one of the other Collectors. He turned the Owl Beast into a scroll and it found its way to the Night Market. Also, the curse is never gonna be lifted. Eda and Lilith have to live with it for the rest of their lives. But they adapted to it, learned to live with it.
What happened with Caleb and Evelyn?

I watched the Owl House finale after a very long and difficult day, and I ugly cried the entire way through. It was PERFECT for the hand dealt to the showrunners.

Game grumps has been a major part in my life through ups and downs and seeing Arins name pop up in the credits made me incredibly happy.
This show will forever be a personal favorite because I heavily relate to Luz and wanting to be understood as well as striving to achieve my goals in life. This show has done so much for me emotionally and I thank the whole crew as well as Dana for creating such a masterpiece. While I’m sad to see it go I’m incredibly satisfied with the ending

I also believe that Phillip never found glyphs himself like he said in elsewhere and elsewhen. I think Caleb found them, either shared it with Phillip or had a journal of his own Phillip stole. I can't imagine papa titan willingly showing Phillip the glyphs
I loved the ending. Yes I wish there was more but I feel the way they ended it is perfect the owl house creators haven’t always been the clearest and kept the mystery in the show so I feel like ending it while still leaving some things not answered is the perfect way to end it
I'd like to note that the first time we see King's unique glyphs isn't the ending montage but the fight with belos shortly after Luz dies when King creates a barrier around himself

Not a backtrack. It’s “full circle” to continue the cycle. King is a Titan. His dad had Glyphs, so why wouldn’t he have Glyphs when he gets old enough? Plus the Epilogue was like 2 years later, kinda like the MLP:FiM epilogue being 10 years later. The time skip at the end kinda reminded me of Kipo and the Wonderbeasts ending as a time skip. Things have changed, but some things stay the same, and time moves on. King developing Glyphs is a natural progression of his life, so having it at the epilogue doesn’t feel like a backtrack.

Maybe if Disney decides to TRULY redeem themselves, we might get The Owl House back but kinda taking inspiration from Sonic Unleashed and Super Mario Odyssey, in a sense, where Eda, King, Hooty, Lilith, the Hexsquad (including Vee and Masha because they deserve some more spotlight time and the Collector) explore the entire world in the demon realm and human realm. And probably deal with a "few" problems with some titan hunters still lurking and some problems with the Archivists in the demon realm (whom might threaten BOTH realms).
And the title for a sequel to a shortened-too-soon series? How about *The Owl Spirit* because just "The Owl House 2" might not cut it. That, and the demon realm seems more spiritual than, well, demonic because of magic, titans protecting life, etc. What do you people think? (Not expecting a lot of likes, but figured I should type this down.)

Great ending, and it feels like they left the door open for a steven universe-esq next chapter with an older Luc using King's new language of magic to deal with the Archivists along side of the collector since they weren't addressed. Even more so if they found out there was still a living titan growing in power.
In regards to your opinion on Belos' death, I do like the idea you presented, but I also like the idea of Luz simply refusing to help Belos and leaving him to his fate as a way of saying that he brought it on himself with everything he did. Also, I don't think the human world and the demon realm have formed strong relations (the area around that portal would be a top notch government station or something if that were the case, plus there'd be more humans), just that a class on the human realm has become a real thing rather than just a club.
You're probably right, but I'm pretty sure- and this could have been wishful thinking- that I heard some voice say "Welcome to the boiling isles!" in that shot where the PoV went through the new door. I like to think it was as simple as them keeping it local to Gravesfield. Although, I do agree that they wouldn't have formed strong relations.

I know it's going to be unpopular, but I found the finale lack luster. I know they were pressed for time, but even without watching any spoilers (which was nigh impossible with everyone reviewing the trailers) I still found it jumped around. Especially with the collector and luz, they gave her a Nat 20 on charisma against the collector. Having him go from imputent child to secondary hero in a second just seems.. meh.
For all intents and purposes though I enjoyed it, for what it was. The island titan being possessed was a great idea, not taken far enough. Amity's mother basically being ousted gave me a chuckle, and her blimp being made of what I like to think the butler abomination is a nice touch.
If owlhouse does return, it will most likely be episodic and more likely less about the past themes and more about daily life of characters and their interactions; ie luz and amity chilling or a date, king and collector adventuring, gus revisiting the illusionist graveyard like he promised, maybe even a glimpse in the long past of papa titan where we can actually see him interact with the collector and the betrayal of the archivists.
Just my views and opinions though. I could say more, but I won't!
I do have a question for all though. I was under the impression Kings father was shown walking around the Isles and gave hooty a letter for King. So if that wasn't his father, then who? If it was, then how?
