I like leaving them along. Certain things maybe but I have enough of them and not enough time so I just go on to the next one. Thank you for sharing your lantern with us. Stay safe and stay warm
That’s also where my current collection started is with one 288. But years ago a family member handed down a 220 but I was younger and didn’t know what I was doing and destroyed it.
@@Firencoffee I have a 237 in my collection that I don’t think has been lit in years and since I’m not very familiar with them I’m not sure I will light it
Good decision with the 237. Always take the safest course. I learned how to assess and repair lanterns completely from TH-cam videos. Not everyone is an expert and gives the best information, including myself. I researched several sources before deciding which ones I considered the most accurate. Over time you will develop the knowledge and confidence to safely light your 237.
It is not labeled dual fuel but many people run regular unleaded gasoline with no problems. I like the smell of white gas better and have a decent stockpile of it so that is what I use.

On this lantern I used Peerless 2C-HG-M01 mantles that I purchased from OldColemanParts.com
Is it dual fuel?
