@jordanmackay3568 yes, we rode the bike and set the saddle height… Who cares how high the seatpost is out the frame if it’s a 200mm dropper? Surely it’s the shorter legged riders with slammed seatposts that we should be concerned about, and they spec a 200mm on the large so it can’t be much of an issue.
For me the more adjustable the more desirable. I have a Specialized EVO and love it! Mixed-wheel or full 29er, WRP yoke and 8mm more with a Cascade link, 6 different settings. I just swapped my 36 for a 38. I still can't believe Specialized is discontinuing the EVO 😢 Hopefully more brands go to having meaningful adjustments so we consumers don't have to buy another bike for different trails. Maybe this is why Specialized discontinued it.
The regular stumpjumper 15 is more adjustable than the previous Evo, and can be made effectively as aggressive with a longer fork. Will be interesting to see if a Cascade link comes out to further boost its capabilities. But yes, more adjustability is always nice!
Hello bro ! I ordered a size large and I measure 1.79m won't it be too big for me? What do you think about it? I have a trek slash in size ML and the Spicy in M is smaller than the ML trek while I am comfortable on the ML
It'll depend on your preferences! The large Lapierre is not too crazy big. If you find the reach is too long, you could look to run a shorter stem to help to offset it. I think you'll be okay!
Sadly for this quick test ride we didn’t have the opportunity to keep the bike long enough for a comparison. Technically the title isn’t asking a question as there’s no question mark, rather it’s stating high or low pivot, because the bike can be ridden in either setting. We do hope to get one from Laporte however and will definitely be doing some back to back testing on it!
Haha. Hey, we understand you were just as excited as we were to learn more!! Hopefully we can get one and we’ll be sure to let you know the results if we do! Cross your fingers for us.
LOOK AT THE SEATPOST INSERTION DEPTH HAHAHA
Might be a struggle for some, undoubtedly.
That said, we had a 200mm and could have gone longer. Long legs though!
@@TheLoamWolf have you seen how far out the frame it is? No excuses for them I'm afraid haha

It's no worse than a santa cruz or spesh enduro with their shock tunnels? It's already won EDR races this season so it can't be that bad lol
Killing it with amazing content!!!
Thank you very much!
I've been waiting for someone to review one of these since it was spied at the EWS last year lol
Well there you go! Hope it was worth the wait

So now you can choose between high pivot & low pivot but at the expense of high seatpost or low seatpost.....
Honestly very cool idea. High pivot isn't for everyone. This is rad.
Rides pretty damn well too!
Now everybody rides a compromise

@@TheLoamWolf ok 👌
Thank you bro !
Is the Large Rather Small or Large? Im about 180 and dont know what size to get
Hello maybe you can help me about size L
can you measure the maximum seat post sag! Please bro 🙏
Ridiculous , if you want a bike that can change its setup even on the fly g and buy a canyon strive! Riding mine since 8years and it awesome 💪
The latest iteration of the Strive is still Robert’s benchmark enduro bike. Seriously good.
Looks better than Cannondale!
Ok, cool. Now we need new ebike from Lapierre...
We'd like to see it!
Seems to be more a Park bike then a Enduro Bike. Also weight was missing.
Definitely an enduro friendly bike too. Claimed weight for this build is 16kg, size unknown.
Frame weight is 3.2kg
Come back to U.S.!
Lapierre bikes, or Robert? 😂
@@TheLoamWolf U.S. can’t handle Robert😊
Hahaha. Neither can our office refrigerator!
All these new bikes look so similar, cool but generic and they are all matte it feels like
What?! You didn't compare low pivot to high. Wtf? Thats literally the only thing we want to know. And your title actually asks high or low! 👎

Shame you didn't get more time to test the main feature.
