Another dream build video, this time is this amazing Lapierre Spicy bike.
Carbon Frame 170mm of rear travel pair with a Rockshox ZEB Ultimate 190mm !!!!
The build is properly set for bike park laps and smashing through big berms and jumps.

Nice build. I'm also planning to build a mullet spicy soon but I cannot find the right Head set size for the frame. Does the frame come with Headset? if not. can i ask what is the size?

@@__The_Bike_Dude__ Ok, thanks. Lapierre doesn't recommend going above 170mm on the fork for the spicy. Does it shorten your reach quite noticeable?

I’m 1.62cm normally on a small. I wanted to achieve the shorter reach with the longer wheelbase for more stability. It’s a similar build as Andrien Daily’s did to his Spicy for the Isola 2000 Dh race

Perfect Video. What type - brand of chainguide do you use? Do you use carbon paste on headset & bottom bracket (white material) or ordinary grease? Thanks

Hi and Thanks! chain guide is Lapierre direct frame design, and the white is marine grease water resistant

@@__The_Bike_Dude__ Thank you for your reply. I have a Lapierre Zesty with air shock (140mm travel). Do i have problem to go to coil shock (205x60) and 160 mm - Spicy?

Spicy and Zesty use the same platform (frame) and the shock can go up to 62.5 before it hits the seat stay.
So yes no problem with 205x60 👍

@@srod5035 10Nm is ok with 12 for the main pivot on the chain stay/main frame pivot. 5Nm for the bolt on non-drive side of the pivot in between the rocker link and frame

Hello. i bought a new Rock Shox Super Deluxe ultimate 2023 (205x60) for my new lapierre Zesty. Trying to put it in my frame the spring is bigger than frame. it is 57 mm external diameter. trying to put it ...with effort ... but no clearance. Your spicy what external diameter does have?

Hi, with the original rockshox coil it should be fine. What coil did you installed?

@@__The_Bike_Dude__ Hello. thanks for your reply. I used the RockShox original red coil 600lbs (external diameter = 57 mm). So, i returned the shock . Maybe i have to use or air shock or other brands like DVO, Fox with internal diameter 35 mm and external 54mm
