If the stones can recharge by themselves and he has a big inventory pocket could he not store a bunch of white crystals to, I don't know use stronger weapons. The mk2 .50 cal was invented was invented in 1918 during ww1 during the John's authority 3 he never used it. It was clearly there. I feel like John could have gotten access to Anti tank rilfes too. Not to mention he never got to use any in placement weapons. Like a aa battery that shots air burst rounds or a mini gun. Or was that on purpose to prevent John from out ranking his current authority. Also rail guns John could've put a bunch of junk together to make a crappy rail gun powered by white crystals.

While I absolutely love this story, I feel the author spends far too much time on advancement. That is the one thing that prevents me listening to other cultivation stories. I do not want to listen to a half hour description of someone's meditation.
I don’t mind as long as it’s interesting and not just “eat this pill, meditate, circulate qi, advance. If it was all action all the time without the world building and relationships between characters to give purpose to the action I’d get bored.
