- I heard the new iPhone is very durable and has a great camera so I figured why not tape it to the blade of my hockey stick and test it out. We got some interesting footage. Let us know in the comments which angle you like the most.

idk why but the whole time the camera was showing the stick pov I get flash backs to 10 year old me going from goal line to center ice and sliding on my knees lol

Before shooting today I got down and looked up at the net from the puck. Now I know the angels from where the puck leaves the ice I hit bar down everytime off the back bar . Eyes of the stick really helped me I never even thought of that
works great when used to follow the other players!
As a zamb driver I want that zamb door. Words cant describe how painful manual doors are when ice builds up on the threshold.

Next time I would put it on the shaft so you can see the puck all the time. Maybe try that with a 360 degree camera too, should look very crazy!!!
Crazy idea, but hear me out. Every player is in netminder gear.
The episode would look so insane, the rink would look so full from the size of all the players.

Wild experiment my guy. I think some of the footage is incredible, and some of it is nauseating. I'm sure you picked up on that in editing. I think you could improve on it, maybe get some grip mounts and put a gopro down low on the shaft? Never the less, this was cool to watch and i imagine you learned some.

If you do this again try switching it into slow-motion mode, the faster shutter speed might lose some of the motion blur...plus playback in slow-mo could look pretty sick

Best use is as a witness camera. Not the stick making the action but on the stick near the action

I also have the Iphone 14 pro and you need to put the Action Mode in your camera settings, it will be better than the Gopro 11!! Can you do another video with this setting, looks so nice! Try the Quadlock for iphone to stick it above your blade! i think it's one of the best phone mount

@@MicBergsma okay.. maybe not better but as good, there's some times that the iphone will be better as for instance in the night the iphone cleary is better than the gopro. For sports like mountain bike or running, both gopro and iphone are very stable but it's the first time I see someone playing hockey with it😅 would like to see the gopro compare to the iphone with action mode on!

Metal casting stick. Melt down metal and cast your stick and form the stick with the melted metal.

HAHA any tips for just using a normal GoPro with a helmet mount? I have been putting my games on my channel but i feel like they aren’t that great. Other than getting the new GoPro that is.

Cool experiment but I don't think it brings that much to a video content. Best use would be when you follow the puck or receive a pass.
