If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.

It’s funny how even in the most touristy of areas in Bangkok you can walk about a dozen blocks and be in a very local “Thai” area. I think it really adds to the energy of that city. Thanks for the great video.

This is true. Get a few blocks off Sukhumvit and you can find a very Thai area. So many more places I need to explore.

@@EagerExpat The question is will you ever have enough time. The things to discover just in the center of Bangkok are nearly endless. Have fun exploring.

5:34 I ate at this seafood restaurant and it's pretty good and not expensive. All Thai clientele and no tourists (except for our group). So I guess they sent the lady manager to take our order since she spoke perfect English.

I'll have to give that a try with my friend Kwang. She's my translator and seafood eating partner. Thanks for the comment.

Interesting video Eager Expat. I have had a S21Ultra and now the S23Ultra. Maybe you should film in 4k / 30fps because the Quality of the SamsungS2xUltras are awesome. I filmed before with it for my channel but I changed to bigger gear. But the Samsungs are great :)

Hey thanks for watching. I have a shelf full of camera's and lenses. These days it's all about simple, simple, simple. On my S22 Ultra, 4k with stabilization on and super steady off, it stills drops frames if I pan (even very slow) It's rare for that to happen at 1080. Plus, I've put a video out every day for about a year. You know how long 4k takes to render and edit compared to 1080. I can edit and upload three videos in the time it would take one 4k video. Not to mention most people watch on a phone anyhow. My stats say it's over 90%. Not to mention, I often walk around for three or four hours filming. At 4k the phone is full after 2 hours and the battery is about to explode. Same with my large Sony camera. I had a plane spotting channel I did on a tripod at 4K. I would film for hours at a time. I cooked a dozen batteries in 6 month.

Ah I see. Dropping frames and stuttering isn't that funny. With the S23Ultra it's fine. About rendering time in 4k it's correct. I have a fast laptop with a nvidia 3070 gfx card so rendering time for a 30 minutes video is about 18-20 minutes in 4k. That's ok for me.

@@frankoseven Ya, I have the best LG Gram laptop. It really helps to have that for all this video editing.
