Looking great! I'll definitely try using this layering technique for an upcoming build. One question though, as I can't find a good comparison. Would it be better to use XPS foam for structure if I have a proxxon wire cutter? I think it's more stiff and sturdy, and that the all-EVA foam prop will get floppy over time. Are there any downsides to use XPS and just cover it with EVA for a smoother finish?
Thanks! For small handguns like this, it's not really necessary to add a rigid core, but it could definitely help with big/longer props! We used Sintra and Worbla to add structure to some props in the past but don't really have any experience with XPS foam.
