It definitely needs a better charger and a better steering servo,,I race mine on an indoor clay track and it's fun,,I had to put the thicker shock spacers on it to handle the jumps better
Would you feel comfortable tell me where that spot is? I think I may live in the area and I've been looking for some great driving spots. I understand if you don't want to make a public though👍
Can someone post an actual video of it snapping in half under normal use? People keep saying what they heard but nobody’s posting videos of it actually snapping in half..without a 30’ jump on 3s. If it was happening so much why are there NO VIDEOS OF IT SNAPPING IN HALF?
@@ron486 yeah I did see that one and I saw on Reddit a couple pictures but they didn’t say how they crashed or what they were doing. I have a video where I hit a boulder head on pretty hard and still drove away so…maybe some people are just doing too much.
I get it. You got a free truck to say this. I've been doing hobby grade RCs for 19 years, and this vehicle is a hugh disappointment. The front and rear tires are different compounds (the front tires remind me of a cheap childs toy from Walmart. they're so hard). There's very little suspension travel and NO center differential. Huge flop, IMO.
Truck isn't even close to being the best Mini basher. The Rlaarlo Terminator carbon fiber edition blows away the mini Max by a longshot. Even after l dumped the money into the mini Max to make it 3s worthy.
That’s what I’m saying in comparison to something like a rlaarlo omni terminator which is basically the same price you get way better stuff in the truck.
Wish i never bought this junk. I can't believe how horrible it is . Broke indoor hitting a couch corner. Fixed it drove it for 5 minutes outside in the cold and broke again when i hit a curb. Both crashes were under 10 mph.
What a nice little truck. Great Video. Its kinda funny how Traxxas still tells everyone they don’t send out cars for free to test 😂
Hahahah facts only reason its getting a good review here is
Great video! Thank you for your honest review. Would you run this in snow?
yes, i would have no problem running this in the snow
Excellent! Thank you!! Keep up the good work!!

Personally i would buy more batteries instead of an expensive charger. Nice car!

You should come check out the Pacific Northwest we got lots of racing up here
There is?
Hmmm, all those rollovers. Endos. Cartwheels. And nothing broke. Seems to not be as weak as haters say.
And go......😄
Trax-ass
Hmm all those rollovers, kinda drives crappy, well it is a skill level 1 according to Traxxas which is great if that's your skill level
Traxxas doesn't give it a scale. It's more like a 1/16th scale than 1/18th.

Because it's Fake News

The only one I seen break in half hit a cement wall head on at speed. I can understand why it broke.

problem is that it explodes on 3s

30mph is the fastest mini truck you have driven, well you haven't driven much then
Its a skill level 1 truck according to traxxas and seems to fit you perfectly
Anybody else knows that the video look like it was moving frame by frame 🤔
Pretty sure they are made in china or Taiwan.
Like all Horizon stuff etc. aswell
@@whatsintheboxx You mean like almost any rc
It’s not made in America

made in america, My Ass.
Nah it's mediocre
I've never had a trick straight out of the box for £230 do that. Speed or durability traxxas are top of the game
@@stuanemmatry the rlaarlo Omni terminator you’ll be surprised!
Def not the best AT ALL id def rather buy a cheap amazon 1/10 over the mini maxx anyday srry bud this just aint the one😂

It would be cool if it didnt snap in half if you sneeze at it. Definitely NOT a contender vs arrma at the moment

Only seen one break in half, and it hit a cement wall at speed.
Facts dude i think he got it for free thts why no offense to him tho i respect the hustle lol

It's important to avoid head on collisions

Haha... thats funny. Traxxas doesn't pay their influencers. I didn't throw it off a 2 story building if thats what you were hoping for. ..lol.
@@OvalRCmaybe they confuse you for a certain guy from the UK that destroys RC cars?
