Oh my. Another fantastic job. Honestly I cannot get over the difference. I just finished watching the other Ferragamo episode - the one with the badly water damaged shoes. I thought that makeover was impressive. This one beat it.
Wearing them for the first time today after the repair. They feel so perfect is impossible to believe they were in that previous condition. I 100% recommend this artist and craftsman for this job. Kudos and respect to him.
Holy cow what a restoration! When you said you were going to remove that ugly brown color I was like yeah that's not going to turn out good. Then when you showed it halfway removed I was like this is worse than I thought. Then you turned it into a beautiful, well crafted boot. Amazing work!
I couldn't imagine having a dark brown boot. And when you pick them up and their now an orange brown tan color. I bet he was literally speechless. Nice recovery, though. Thanks for taking us along.
Why on earth would that other guy dye them? The owner must have been furious and heartbroken at the same time. Also mangling the lining! It was totally inexcusable. You did a superb job restoring them. The owner should sue that other guy. Both for what the guy charged to mangle them and for the cost of your restoration.
Probably because the color that came into the PR shop looked like it stripped of all color, so they "thought" it'll look better to dye it, even going against the owner wishes
The issue was, I wasn’t the one who took them to the repair shop. My wife took them there thinking she was doing me a favor, needless to say she wasn’t. I never expected them to be redone, because these boots have a long story with me and have some sentimental value to me, I bought them new 12 years ago in Hong Kong, the same week I started my own company, and have been with me in many different places around the world. Im very happy i found Steve and I was sure after watching his videos that if someone in the world could save them it was him.
Once again surgery completed. A butchered pair of boots lovingly restored to a level that the owner will be absolutely delighted with. Total contrast from that cheap and nasty tan colour. Nice job Steve. 👍 Another life saved at the Bedos SBB Hospital. (Shoe, Bag and Boot)
Watching that small moment with a hooka and drink during the day was quite peaceful, especially knowing the area. I've been to Bedo's before and they've worked on my stuff locally. I highly recommend them.
Few days ago I checked my beloved Timberland boat shoes, companions of many adventures and found that the soles was detaching from the shoes. After watching many of your videos instead of throwing them away I took them to a locak artisan shoe repair shop. The guy put new vibram soles and explained me what he dif. I completly understood and appreciated what he did because I learned from your videos. Now I have my shoes back thanks to you. It costed me 50% of a new pair of Timberland but I don't care because I have MY shoes back and I completly understand why your customers pays you to have THEIR shoes back in service. Keep the good work because artisans like you make people happy. A big CIAO from Italy!
Beautiful job. You must have had an excellent teacher........maybe that's what you were contemplating over your coffee break. I do it every day when fixing a difficult job.
And amazing work fixing a bad repair it shows that you are a fine craftsman and go beyond the clients expectations in order to do an exquisite job 🙏🏼👏🏼
They definitely needed some Bedo’s love and care Steve great repair/restoration they remind me of the pixie boots I used to wear in the 80’s during the New Romantic music period 😊
Steve, the color difference is stunning! I would've been P.O.'d too, had my boots been returned in such a color! I think the thing that irks me the most is the presumptuousness of the other 'shoe repair' guy ASSuming that he unilaterally has the right to make a major decision like that without consulting the owner! As always, EXCELLENT repair/restoration!
Hey man, why do 'you' keep raising the bar? All your peers watching this just drowned their sorrows. When you showed the restored uppers, I was blown away. The company who did the botch, they should refund the the customer, and pay the bill for this restoration.
Great save! How the hell could the previous repair guy get away with an unauthorized dye job? And Bedo's brings another pair back from the dead. Big thumbs up!👍
Haven't seen your videos in my feed in so long ! You're great as I remembered 😊 activated the notifications to see your next videos as soon as they come out from now on! Awesome job 👏
It’s a great job bringing back from a disaster state. One suggestion I could say is to tell us how many days it took to finish the job, so we can get an insight on how much effort you put into redrafting the shoes.
🤔 did the owner question the previous repairer on their work before bringing the shoes to you? They surely must have written the job details down somewheres 🤔 Whatever the historical facts happen to be, those boots surely look awesome now👌🥾🥾
They look beautiful! I can't imagine why someone would change the color like that! That was like using a paint roller on the Mona Lisa! You did an outstanding job on those boots!
The reason people do this kind of work in my opinion only is that it’s a lost art form. Most people including me just buy new shoes once the old ones are bad. I’ve had a few shoes in the past which where or could be resoled . But beautiful shoes and great job.
Bedo want to say is absolutely correct, nower days everybody wants make a quick buck forfeiting quality and originality but not like you, you always do a great job. 👍
That other hacker who calls himself a shoeman has a lot of guts completely changing the color of the boot out of hand. If it would have been me he would not get paid and if he did not give me my boot there would be hell to pay.
Steve , do you think sometime you can explain the types of nails you use (hardened , iron, clinch, etc and what gauges for what, rubber, lasting, heels , etc..) for different purposes and what the benefits are? Nails are expensive and there are so many different kinds … my head’s spinning.. thanks as always for the help and time!
Squarely in the top ten of your vids, what a transformation. That last dye job looked like it was done with a paint roller! A very fair fee for that work.
Ignoring all the issues with the original, it's the attention to detail that Steve brings. A proper restoration and one the owners can trust.

I think the other guy must be color blind.
BEA-UU-TI-FUL. ABSOLUTELY, BEA-UU-TI-FUL. We were privileged to see a master craftsman at work. Thank you.
Why on earth would that other guy dye them? The owner must have been furious and heartbroken at the same time. Also mangling the lining! It was totally inexcusable. You did a superb job restoring them. The owner should sue that other guy. Both for what the guy charged to mangle them and for the cost of your restoration.
The ones that came into the shop looked incredibly cheap, the restoration was amazing!
Probably because the color that came into the PR shop looked like it stripped of all color, so they "thought" it'll look better to dye it, even going against the owner wishes

@@brandonbrown6918yeah I can't say they looked terrible. They just looked cheap.
Once again surgery completed.
A butchered pair of boots lovingly restored to a level that the owner will be absolutely delighted with. Total contrast from that cheap and nasty tan colour. Nice job Steve. 👍
Another life saved at the Bedos
SBB Hospital.
(Shoe, Bag and Boot)
Sad there are people taking customer’s money that do crap work. But the bright side is this customer has a Bed’s restoration now. Great work Steve.
Watching that small moment with a hooka and drink during the day was quite peaceful, especially knowing the area. I've been to Bedo's before and they've worked on my stuff locally. I highly recommend them.
I thought it didn't look bad and then you showed how it should look, holy heck I'd be upset if I lost that beautiful color.
Had goosebumps after watching what you've done. Man it's incredible . Amazing job Steve.
Masterful work, Bedo. They look like they just came from the factory.
amazing recovery. Great job.
Presentable. Hmm. That’s a massive understatement. They look glorious, and I’d warrant,as good as new. Well done sir.
Ahh, they have a midsole, Blake stick and Glue JR sole, now I get it. Great Job, they look very good Steve.
What an Amazing Transformation, Steve O you're truly Gifted . Have a nice day ☺️
A first class job fixing somebody’s failure! Well done ❤

A big CIAO from Italy!
That is great, thank you Luigi
I hope someone is sending this video to the person(s) who did the original repair job. They need to learn the right way to do things.
Beautiful job. You must have had an excellent teacher........maybe that's what you were contemplating over your coffee break.
I do it every day when fixing a difficult job.
Wow, now that's a serious restoration from how it arrived to you ! Awesome work 👍
This is such a very remarkable restoration. Great work as always Steve. Cheers
I’m sure the first time the customer cried with horror and the second time he cried with joy! Amazing deconstruction reconstruction recovery!👏🏼
Jeez young man. They look better than new. Great job after someone tried to make them ghetto slick.
Bravo!
Another one! A whole different boot! Sick!! Great job Steve!
They don't even look like the same boot. That is incredible
The difference now is like day and night! Well done, once again Steve!
In a league of your own, a true master craftsman. I love all of your work. You make all the ones before proud by the pride you take in your craft.
I imagine the customer actually asked for them to be dyed but is ashamed of the outcome. What a strange thing to just spontaneously choose to do.
Steve, you are a master of your craft. Beautiful work.
What a beautiful job on beautiful boots. Wouldn't we all like a pair of those boots.
Another great save by Steve-o. You da man!! They look great!
First class craftsmanship
Wow, awesome restoration. Almost like new and too nice to wear them again.
Hey man, why do 'you' keep raising the bar? All your peers watching this just drowned their sorrows. When you showed the restored uppers, I was blown away.
The company who did the botch, they should refund the the customer, and pay the bill for this restoration.
Classy look restored. A walk back in time, but not too far as Cosmopolitan taste never left. Allow me:🏅
I really enjoy customer reveals. Whenever possible, please add them. Nice work, as always.
I can’t see everything, but I can say for sure that you are a professional! 👍
Character, craftsmanship and art all in the same project. Well done on every level.
It looks much, much better before your restoration ..... Love watching your videos ! Thanks for sharing ... Take Care !
Great save! How the hell could the previous repair guy get away with an unauthorized dye job? And Bedo's brings another pair back from the dead. Big thumbs up!👍
Beautiful repair/refinish, Steve! I love the original color, too ( I don't know why they 'choose' to dye them). Your craftsmanship is TOP NOTCH!
THAT is AMAZING!!! great work Steve!!

Such a great job again Steve,I especially like the color and design of the sole.
Now that is a good looking boot.
🤔 did the owner question the previous repairer on their work before bringing the shoes to you? They surely must have written the job details down somewheres 🤔
Whatever the historical facts happen to be, those boots surely look awesome now👌🥾🥾
Huge difference!I'm sure they will love them
Amazing bring back. Awesome work brother 👏
They look beautiful! I can't imagine why someone would change the color like that! That was like using a paint roller on the Mona Lisa! You did an outstanding job on those boots!
You are TRUE CRAFTSMAN !!
The reason people do this kind of work in my opinion only is that it’s a lost art form. Most people including me just buy new shoes once the old ones are bad.

This is a stunning restoration. Great work.

Another amazing job, by the MASTER...! Unbelievable Steveroo.... GG
Beautifully done!
That was a great recovery job. That colour was just so wrong, apart from the total lack of quality.
"Crack that whip!" LOL. "Let's continue." BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Great job!
good job steve they look a thousand times better than the light color the other guy did to them.
Perfect job. Worth every penny.
Nice recovery Steve..😊
Fantastic job stevo ………….the previous work on that was appalling……but you restored them fully ! 😊
The indents on the heel and the gold tacks at the bottom look GREAT. I bet better than the brand new off the shelf shoe!
Magic again, very nice job on nice boots 🥾 cheers 🍻
This boot before and after is like day and night. 😮
Wow, skilled tradesmen are hard to find.😮
Another great work! I enjoy watching all your videos. And it's incredible seeing the difference at the end : )
That other hacker who calls himself a shoeman has a lot of guts completely changing the color of the boot out of hand. If it would have been me he would not get paid and if he did not give me my boot there would be hell to pay.
looking SO much better after you got done with them.
