Hey everyone! I've posted so many videos in the past of takeoffs/landings at Sky Harbor that they've become quite repetitive but I decided to make an exception for this one as we flew over some nice points of interest including: the Grand Canyon; Prescott, AZ (and its airport); Lake Pleasant; Del Webb's Sun City, AZ; and State Farm (formerly University of Phoenix) Stadium. This was also my first time arriving at the new Concourse F of the remodeled Terminal 3. Hope you enjoy the video!

5:20 - 5:44 - there are alot more heavy industrial areas of Phoenix than I thought there were.
From the higher view, you can more easily see how Phoenix as a whole lies in one big valley. In fact, isn't it one of the reasons it gets so hot there, and dry? It being in a big low-altitude valley surrounded by mountains which block rain clouds and storm systems which have made it such a hot and dry desert climate? Las Vegas is also in a low valley surrounded by mountains, which block rain clouds and cold fronts, one of the reasons why both Vegas and Phoenix have many triple-digit days in summer months with rarely any rain
And I also love the Airbus aircraft.

Wow, a ghost town at the Delta gate. Unsurprising but eye opening seeing it.
It got quite busy right after we arrived.
@TripleAAAviation Yeah, there was that smaller Delta aircraft pulling up at the adjacent gate exact same time as you. It apparently landed right after you and was taxiing right behind you. And then, from what you said, numerous other planes
@TripleAAAviation Was the smaller plane pulling into gate next to you an Embraer ERJ-170? And yours looked to be a 757-232?
