I'll be filming the CRJ-200 Route to Colorado Springs from Phoenix a few days after they begin service. It's been years since I've flown a CRJ-200 into Phoenix, never flew one out.

Nice! About time they added a flight from PHX to COS. Use to have one in the America West days

@@TripleAAAviation They have a flight on Frontier Airlines as of now. But American Eagle will have 3 flights a day.

I'm finally going to film a full round trip on this route in 2 days! However, if I get a dirty CRJ 700, I may film it again in the future. I had a lot of AA credit due to COVID-19. Also, if they change my seat at the gate like what I was reading, I may fly to Tucson again in the Fall. I did call AA and was told I would get another window seat, but it may be way up front :( I will upload the way to on Friday, since I'm driving back home to Phoenix with a rental car. I hope everything goes well. I am returning to the skies after 3 months of not flying anywhere. Stay tuned for future trip reports.

I'm a student at highschool learning about aviation, sadly, my teacher is leaving this December, so I won't learn about planes and stuff

My parents live in Tucson, a minor shock to see AA flying a mainline jet on such a short segment--last I checked, its primarily CRJ-900's that make the run--also surprised that you were served a beverage, would think that with the flight time being what it is,the FA's would remain seated--one wonders how much FC would cost for this distance?

I believe that the mainline flights on this route are only operated during the winter months...the rest of the year it is CR7s and CR9s. As for the beverage service, I was surprised as well but this flight was less than half full so that's probably why. They only served water and juice.

It’s an air park. Down in southeast Tucson however, there is a huge airplane boneyard

@@fabianesparza2098 That is Pinal airpark, which is a boneyard for commercial airliners. Looked like it was fairly empty in 2019, but it was packed during Covid. I haven't been by recently. The more famous 309th AMARG in Davis Monthan airbase for military aircraft is just east-northeast of the airport.

Pinal Airpark. Boneyard, graveyard, scrap, refurbish and storage. One time Air America base ( but that's a CIA secret)
