Bought a print for Christmas, put on some desert ambiance music and spent the blissful evening reading trough this work of art. Priceless! Agree on everything you pointed out in the video.
Happy New Year! I was starved for redmage videos, so went looking. Discovered several I've somehow managed to miss. Glad to see you are back at it. Cheers
Great stuff, thanks for sharing! I think the rumours with the question marks are meant to spice things up at the DM's discretion, which is very cool I think...
Welcome back. Always happy to see your content, and glad you enjoyed a healthy break. Hope you have a great New Year, and looking forward to more of your stuff.
Glad you're back. I enjoy your content and all the wonderful settings, adventures, and ideas you bring to light. Happy New Year and keep up the great work!
I can understand that. There was another comment that I agreed with, which is that as long as some artists did actually work and get paid for a product, the AI art is less disruptive.
I agree in part (I'm a professional illustrator of 20 years in fantasy and historical books) but in this case they have paid artists. The AI art is incidental. I definitely object to entire projects being AI art. At a certain point you've got to wonder...if we're just consuming words and art spit out by machines, what is the point? It becomes utterly worthless.
PDF price is a little steep, maybe I watch for a sale. I feel bad for artist these days, human made art will not go extinct, but it will become a higher priced luxury IMHO. Rich people will still buy overpriced human art and show it off for status
I imagine the PDF price and the use of well-known artists is connected! I agree - there will always be a market for human-made art, but it will become more and more of a luxury. :/
@@kevinwall9370 bought this is in hardcopy and have to agree with you. It's SO packed with quality gameable content that to be frank, $20 is a bit of a steal!
Glad your back , my wallet might not be ....
Thanks for sharing the cool stuff you find
hahaha one of the reasons I took a break was to give my wallet a rest. :D
Thank you for sticking with my rambling!
Haha, "glad you're back , my wallet might not be ...." couldn't state it better. I share your sentiment 100% :-D

Love your reviews. Great to see you back.
Thank you!!
So glad you've reviewed this one...I think you'll agree it deserves a bit more exposure (aha, that's an understatement!), it's a stone cold classic..
100%. I stumbled across it the other day and was super surprised I hadn't seen it around before! It's going to be a go-to city adventure.
@@RedMageGMyeah, city adventures are where Gabor shines.
He's got so many great ones in the EMDT series!
It's so great to hear you're back!
Thanks mate!

Can confirm that "?" on the rumours tables means it's up to the DM to decide whether the rumour is true or false.
Thanks for the clarification!

Yessir! :D
Shame about the AI art. Interested only in wholly handcrafted works
I can understand that. There was another comment that I agreed with, which is that as long as some artists did actually work and get paid for a product, the AI art is less disruptive.
Big no for the ai art.
Yeah, definitely understandable. I'd prefer public domain art if possible.

You think $20 is expensive for a professionally written and illustrated OSR pdf? Very reasonably priced imo
@@kevinwall9370 I do.

I want the hardcopy so badly!
I love AI art
Not a universal opinion, but one that lots of people seem to share, for sure!
