I have literally just this second watched it. They did email me and ask for permission to feature me on there and obviously I said yes but I would have loved to have been interviewed as well. As soon as you got into the booties and started talking about your obsession with them I found myself nodding so hard I almost spilled my tea! Really great curation of simple and classic basics. My favourite is probably the super oversized & other stories jumper! I think the colour and fit are perfect for autumn and look really great on you! I will agree that I strongly dislike polyester. I can't get over how uncomfortable and unbreathable it is! I also don't think it wears well. Leather will get a nice patina over time, but pleather just cracks so it only looks nice when it is fresh and new. I admit that I do have a few wool-poly blend coats though, as you said it can be really hard to avoid!

The berry coat and checked jacket are my favourites. I wore my olive green boots and mink suede boots to death this winter (in New Zealand). A great change from black. To be honest I loved all your picks!

So impressed with the fabric info you give and featuring a non main stream brand. Never heard of Charles and Keith but the bucket bag looked gorgeous and a bargain compared to the Mansur one of similar style. Thanks Emma x
Well I have the Mansur Gavriel one, in fact it's my second one after returning the first because the stitching came undone, and the same is happening to the new one. So I'd take the Charles and Keith bucket over the Mansur any day haha 😉 It's just a shame it doesn't come in more colours in the plain style.

I often feel really down on myself for how I look and my size...except you and I are the same size, and I think you look rockin'! Thanks for making me reevaluate the way I look at myself and helping me to notice my own negativity and the unrealistic lens I look at myself through. I know it must be hard sometimes for influencers to share what sizes they wear at different retailers, people can be really judgemental, but in some ways I think it's positive to realize that people who inspire your style or who you idealize...are just like you. Thanks for being just like me :)
Also, love how you try to juggle the anti-leather and anti-PU people. No easy way to do that, I appreciate seeing options on both sides!

Wonderful picks Emma! My favourites are the Warehouse coat and olive green boots. So great that you're still spending your own money and time to select pieces from &otherstories that you really love and want to share.
Surely they can blend the wool with viscose or linen? Also I despair at the linings that are so difficult to find in viscose. A polyester lining is just like wrapping yourself in a plastic bag. I find that better fabrics can be found in mens tailoring.
I'm sure they probably can, but they choose not to. Often it will be down to cost, but also it does depend on the fabric and the garment, there might need to be elastane in there for stretch. Lining in outerwear is my biggest pet peeve, WHY CAN'T IT JUST BE VISCOSE?! 😫
If you find a company that will use a viscose lining please let us know as I refuse to buy polyester. I have seen really high end blazers with eye watering price tags and beautiful 100% wool material but a polyester lining. How expensive is Viscose? I have just managed to find a 100% wool jacket with acetate lining on ebay but it was difficult to find. I think as the elastane is only a small percentage and there is no alternative I don't mind so much but like you, I want a viscose lining.
Well funnily enough viscose is pretty cheap, in fact loads of high street stores use viscose for their clothing, but when it comes to lining they (and designers) still opt for polyester. It's actually crazy haha 🙈

No lie...I chuckled out loud at your comment about the Zara faux leather leggings. I literally had a fashion emergency on Thursday that made me late to work after the outfit I planned with not one but two different Zara faux leather leggings did not work out for that exact! Same! Reason! Which is so frustrating because they were perfectly fine when I wore them last in spring! On the hunt for a really good pair, preferably one that will come all the way down to the tops of my ankles since I'm pretty tall and the Zara's always fit like a cropped style.

H&M currently have coated black skinny jeans which are a great alternative for those who can't run to the AllSaints leggings. I love mine! Very cool yet comfy.
