      Yes, but the fact that it's 1000 years old and is still a sword, not an unidentifiable metal scrap shard is pretty amazing. No need to be a buzzkill dude.

    the best job in the world. I am so jealous , to be able to hold such a historic piece of Japan's history is amazing . how much would that sword go for? maybe $100,000

      Nah. Something like this would probably be about 15k-20k usd. Condition on this one is soso. The tip (kissaki) is soso.

      Interesting. Could you tell me though why Japanese swords this old are still in such good condition in terms of the steel itself? I mean the polish is like a mirror. European swords this old are all rusted and brittle. @@thegamehaa

      @@genustinca5565 Steel and metal are the same. It's due to preservation techniques, culture, generations caring about the past. Not related to the steel itself but how it is preserved over time.

      From Japan we generally ship using EMS, from UK I am working with a specialist shipper, normally via DHL.
