I saw the Oprah interview with Tina and Cher. What a humble lady Tina is (Cher as well). I like that Tina is her own woman, made her own way, got the hell out of a relationship that she didn't deserve and moved on with her life performing in front of so many of her fans. She deserves the right to enjoy her home, husband, and doing every day things. That must feel fantastic. Hats off to you Tina, you ARE simply the best.

For many years Tina had planned way ahead of her working years. She knew that one day she had to give it all up with the dancing and singing,and she wanted to be able to relax from all her labor. I am sure it took a lot of thought to surrender her citizenship in America and move away,but it appears that was the best thing she did for her well being. Had she not moved away she probably would have been forced to work in some capacity until her death,. I am so very happy that Tina stepped out on faith after being in such an abusive relationship with Ike Turner, and made things happen for herself. She doesn't owe anyone anything because she did the work herself, so enjoy it to the fullest. As a parent I know the feeling of disappointments/hurt when it comes to your children,but as a mother you have to pray for them,put them in God's hands and step aside because He doesn't need anyone's help to mend the brokenness when it comes to relationships. I remember her comeback...it was brilliant, even bigger than her first career...at an age when most had long retired. She was GEORGEOUS..and gave brillant performances. So pleased her next marriage was good. Her first was abusive...and unworthy of her.
