On this VIDEO she and her husband, Erwin have several interviews that are pieced together. Go to 4:25 interview on a segment of "60 minutes". Tina is saying that Erwin & her don' t feel they need to be married. They already feel married. I had my closed caption on/volume off, since I was in a private busness, not wanting the noise to bother others. My closed caption covered her face except for her eyes and some of her hair/perhaps wig? I keep going back to that spot,---I feel she really, really resembles WHITNEY HOUSTON!!

When she mentioned that life and death are just how it is and Buddhism helped her process that, it made me cry but it's good to hear that she had accepted this. I hope she had no fear and is resting peacefully now. ❤

I feel a void and I didn’t know her personally. I cried and have been watching every video since she passed. For some reason, I had been tearful for a few days before she died. I felt that someone I loved was going to die. At first, I thought it might have been my immediate family. However, I also felt a connection to Tina too like family because our early lives were so similar. When she made a comeback I bought tickets for all the women in my family to see her in concert and to support her because I wanted her to win. It was phenomenal! She is electric. I know Erwin is suffering immensely! My prayers really go out to him now.

40 is not really that old. The woman is mature by then but still in her prime, can even still have kids if she should want to. It all depends on the maturity of the younger male and Edwin looks way much older than his age. They never looked the age difference because he sort of caught up with Tina who was actually way younger then most her age. It was a perfect match.

I'm happy to know that Tina found a loving, caring man who was unselfish and did all that he could for her! Where her first husband would beat her, this one gave her one of his kidneys because he wanted her to live -- not suffer.

You are right... however, I think that Erwin and Tina had a strong sense of intuition about each other developed over the years. I'm feeling that they were in sync about this topic. I have no doubt she would want him to go on and rebuild his life as however he chooses, as he would also wish for her if circumstances were reversed. I can only echo that sentiment for him in her honor, as his living on and attaining a new chapter of happiness also honors her as well, since they obviously made it their top priority to enrich each other's lives.

My Pop got tickets for us to see Ike & Tina and the Ikettes because I was a huge fan, but they didn't show up (the Ikettes put on a great show though), and many concerts that year were later cancelled due to Ike's violence against her and that she'd finally had to escape him. I felt so bad for her, but happy about her successful solo career. Learning that she finally found the love she truly deserved fills me with such joy ❤
