I go through stretches where I just bang out all their full albums. And nothing else.
Swallow the sun has so many sides and shades.
You can hear some powerful and catchy death doom riffs.
You can hear beautiful balads.
You can hear some folkish\post-rock songs (in the middle of the album Songs from the North).
You can hear funeral doom despair (the last part of the album Songs from the North).
You can hear some black metal vibes.
You can hear crazy extreme vocal.
You can heas soft voices and light melodies.
Each their album has a different vibe and give a different experience. I cannot say what's my favorite album because it depends on mood. I suggest you to listen to all their discography to experiense this.
