This was my first F1 game back then. But I find it really interesting to see it again after all these years. It makes you realize again how memory can play tricks on you. My memory of the game was much more fluid. Hardly any other medium in the entertainment industry develops as fast as video games.
Your memory is fine.... This is purely the fault of the emulator.
F1 Challenge 99-02 is surely next!
There is a mod out there for the game, that allows you to play the Formula 1 seasons from 1950 to 2016,
Aarava would be busy with that for some time.
Shame that he doesn´t know the old f1 drivers. Heinz- Harald was really good in the late 90s with Jordan.

F1 2000 was never on PS2, but F1 Championship Season 2000 was. There was also F1 Racing Championship that came out in 2000. Yeah....
You can also try the old and unoffical Grand Prix Formula 1 Games for the PC ;).
You had the illusion you were speeding up because the red and white curbs were better designed to show your "speed" vs the things further off the side of the track like the fence and stands and stuff.
If you go to the game modes section and then select single grand prix, you then get access to all of the settings and tracks from the start.
For such a big F1 youtuber it's astonishing how little he actually knows about Formula 1..

Hey Aarva, the best way to play ps1 is buying a Ps2 slim, preferably Model SCPH-300XX (30004, 30005 ect) as those games can play ps1 games

You should play Namco Museum Vol 1 on and 3 on PlayStation just for Pole Position and Pole Position II since they're F1 arcade games of the 1980s

Content being locked meant you were required to actually play the game. I miss that style.

If you have a pc you can get all the old GTA games on steam. (They didn't age well)
@@MrXaniss i know and i tried VC, it had so many problems, firstly it wouldn't open, then the mouse wouldn't work, then the game wouldn't save (the last problem i couldn't solve)

aarava not setting things up correctly again then blames others and these support memory cards also you can play games from other consoles etc through emulation so not sure what you was getting at (F1 ps1 games was much better compared to these EA trash)

Game sound is the same as how the game sounds frame rate is not but it was released on a CD ROM so I guess very hard to emulate

You need to try and play Microprose F1GP 2 which is based on the 1994 season.
Stop complaining about the game being bad more than half of the problems are because of the emulator

Can you play F1 2006/Championship Edition as 2006 was on PS2 and Championship Edition was on PS3 in 06.
