Do you ever listen to hundreds of episodes of a podcast and then watch a video of the hosts and be legit blow away because neither of them look how you imagined. I love Josh & Chuck.
Josh looks just like I imagined him. Chuck no, didn't see him having a big beard.
I would've guessed Josh's voice with Chuck's body and vice versa :P

I’ve spent so many hours listening to it and the show has always helped me relax. The tone generally is very very neutral and leveled. It helps maintaining balance. So when I hear there voices in any context, I feel that.

I've been listening to the podcast since 2013 and I always told myself I'd never look up how they look just to keep this feeling of wonder about them, and I looked out how a gas nozzle works and recognized josh's voice instantly and I was disappointed I messed up my sense of wonder by complete accident. So I figure what the hell let's see how chuck looks too, and here I am

I love Chuck's laugh. It's sort of a giggle and causes me to laugh along.

I find it incredibly annoying and distracting. It's so bad for me that I stopped listening unless it's a topic I'm really interested in.

I love that the camera does not move to show Jeri in true SYSK fashion.
I was so excited to hear that she was there, only to be dissapointed again..

@@henrymarks2237 I can't prove it beyond testifying that I was at their live show in Seattle in September last year and Jeri was there and introduced to the live audience.
If you want to know for sure I recommend to just go to one of their live events, Jeri usually is there in person :D

Josh and Chuck keep me sober. Whenever I'm craving or wanna escape, their podcast relaxes me and helps me get on with my day. Thanks guys.
crazy I ran into this comment because same! I used to believe it was impossible for me to fall asleep sober because my anxiety gets so bad so now instead of drinking to sleep I distract myself with these guys or other podcasts.

These two guys have a smooth relaxing energy that makes them easy to listen to and informative as well. They never talk over the heads of listeners and are easy to follow with a sensible philosophy that would be useful for others to emulate.
Ya gotta love 'em because I think there's no big ego thing happening. If everyone took on their qualities, the World would be a better place. For all.

Really? I can't imagine their voices switched. That would be really strange. I knew which was which as soon as I looked up a picture.
There voice is so soothing. I listen to them at work, my job is very stressful and some how it just lets me step away from the work and just do what I got to do. So grateful!

I have been consuming these podcasts at an alarming rate and they're incredible. I love these guys. Best part of my day is taking walks and firing up two episodes of SYSK.
I listen to these guys to fall asleep at night. The topics are interesting, but for the most part not upsetting, and their voices are so relaxing. It took me three nights to get through the episode on moss, but that was the goal. I kept going back to the place where I'd dozed off the night before and listening from there. It keeps me from that anxious way I have of spinning my thoughts at night.
I can't handle seeing these guys! I saw a picture of them once and I thought Josh was Chuck and Chuck was Josh based off the sound of their voices and seeing this...It's just making my brain itch! Love you guys!

It's like watching two imposters lip sync to the guys voices. In my head for some reason I always pictured them looking like Matt Murdock and Foggy from Daredevil haha.
And why is Foggy and Matt the same person??
Swap out real Chuck for Matt Murdock and keep real Josh as Josh, and you've got my imaginary Chuck and Josh down perfectly.
I love how these guys immediately bring the same chill, informative, and humorous SYSK energy to this interview. Feels like an episode lol.
I started listening to these guys because I wanted to learn English. Once I was able to understand what they said I realize their talks were very interesting. I have been listening since 2015.

Great chemistry. I also love PJ & Alex from Reply All, and Grey & Brady from Hello Internet. Not ranking any of them above the others, they're all tied as my top three podcast duos.

I love the expression at 17:44. The non-verbal gesture to Josh, like "Go ahead, you tell the story". Says a lot about their friendship.
i love how they said their podcast is a little oasis away from the rest of the internet, that's a big reason why i listen to their podcast. Their episodes exist totally outside of current events, it's nice to get away once in a while!

That's one of the things I like the best about their podcast is their banter back and forth.
They both have such beautiful voices and chuck’s laugh is the best.

One of the best podcasts around.
These guys are so genuine honest people! I started listening to podcasts daily just because of these guys. Never have I been hooked to a habit so quickly and honestly I'm happy because it's very educational without being boring. Very few people possess such a quality.
P. S : the audience sucks! And the host just looks so dull. For God's sake! these are the arguably the best podcast makers out there....

Wonderful consistency. Here it is early 2022, only found these guys last year. And this interview looks fresh. Yes, both voices are great for broadcasting, but complementary -- they have a chemistry you cannot manufacture. Wacky unpredictable humor keeps it rolling even when the content is so-so. Johnny Carson was the master at that.

Having listened only to the podcast for so long I'd built up a mental image of these two and now seeing them and hearing them is literally messing with my head.

I only heard these guys voice forever. One day I saw their photo, and I automatically knew which voice is which! And I was right! I always love these kind of voices 💕 that's why they're my favorite podcasters
I've listened to almost the entire SYSK collection - this is my first time seeing them. It's like 2 random dudes are doing excellent Josh and Chuck impersonations. Love these dudes.

I'd seen pictures of these guys in the past and only just lately started to wonder if I wasn't ascribing the wrong voice to the wrong person when I'd listen to the podcast. It took me watching this whole thing to get used to the fact that I was wrong about who was who. I don't know why but Josh just looks like he should sound like Chuck and Chuck just looks like he should sound like Josh!

I know this is old but I'm kind of offended by the interviewers comment on British people not listening to podcasts. Im a university educated women (so maybe my views are distorted) but I can honestly say almost everyone I know listens to podcasts and has since we were at least in our teens. I remember in secondary school getting set a homework which involved listening to a podcast.
