I was on Midway from Jan. 70 to April 72. Great boat.
i was on her in 1971 with COMCARDIV ONE
AIMD AE2 COD Crew 1974-1975.
Spent 4 months onboard with VA-56 in 1971. Kept the A7's motors running.
Minor correction. VMCJ-1 was called the "Golden Hawks",not the chargers.
Bel video complimenti, grazie per queste immagini ❤
Awesome 👍✈️
Hi Charlly. Does the name RIO LTJG Charly Hassard, VF 151, 1975 ring any bells for you or anyone on this post?
Not for me :(
I remember him. As an AQ I had debriefings of radar status and gripes after flight sorties.
I was in VF-151 AQ shop May ‘73 to Jun ‘75 ... sailed aboard CVA-41 to new homeport in Yokuska.
@@reynoldangel7763 wow. After all this time, someone remembers him. I've tried many times to find him with no luck. Perhaps someday before my time is up. Haha. Lost track of him after my discharge in August 1975. Thanks for the post.
@@reynoldangel7763 the new homeport at Yokosuka was an interesting time. Japanese found out we still carried nukes. Thanks for the post.
AG Frodo
VF-161 Chargers 1971
I found no pictures for that deployment :(
