No joke Panama is a much better country than USA. It's more free than USA and they have more rights and opportunities. Cost of living is cheaper and you get more money. They speak and use English. Life is so much better in Panama than USA seriously!
One of the many problems no one addresses is the Panamanian currency. Although Panama has its own currency (the Balboa), however, Panama also uses the U.S. dollar. The Balboa to U.S. dollar exchange rate is 1-to-1, which doesn't make since when it comes to GDP. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Panama was worth 52.94 billion US dollars in 2020. Compare that to the U.S. GDP in 2020 at $20.93 trillion. So how did the 1-to-1 exchange rate balance off? Someone with subject matter expertise in economy explain this...I am not convinced that Panama is the best or most beneficial place to retire. Healthcare and medical services outside of Panama City is horrible. DO NOT expect hospitals outside of Panama City to have the same quality.
@@reneesanchezmiranda8588 Nope, you are in no position nor will you ever be in any position to tell me what to do, ever. After visiting Panama and talking to several locals from several provinces about how they (locals) truly feel about tourists and expats living in Panama, it’s clear that locals are “resentful” towards tourists and expats…let that sink in.
Strange coming from someone who lives in the free world country. I don´t plan to argue with you, but if you feel that this is not for you, just let it go. In many countries people are not happy with too many expats around, (not here). So be happy, I wish you the best and let us enjoy living in the best spot... Panama.
It’s the reverse of what you are saying. Panama is on the US currency and has a local currency that exchanges 1 to 1 for circulation purposes therefore it’s not based on GDP. But demand drives exchange rate not GDP , Look at The UK VS The US.

This is quite easy to answer. Stay in you country or move to Needle Park in Philadelphia, you may be living in a better nice place.
