Love, love your videos. I just retired and am ready to upgrade. I have a pair of Aerial Acoustic 6T speakers but would like to get the Sonus Faber Sonetto VIII G2 (or maybe the V...my room might be too small for the VIIIs). Almost all of my listening is now through streaming and I have very wide tastes in music. I just sold my Anthem STR integrated amp and I am debating whether to replace it with a McIntosh C8 and a MC152 ...OR the Hegel P20 with the H20 power amp. What would you recommend? Also, I have a Lumin D2 but considering upgrading to the T3 OR the Eversolo DPM-10A.
Great review! I have the Cayin CS-88a, how would it pair with the Sonetto I G2 or Sonetto II G2? Would it be able to drive them well? I listen mostly to the ultra linear mode with my current 86db 8ohm speakers, at higher volume they could do with more power.
I know more about the songs you use than about the differences in use with different amplifiers, e.g. the difference between the cheapest and the most expensive amplifier you have used, no worries, I will remain a fan
Are you guys going to continue selling McIntosh now that they’ve been purchased by Bose? Will Sonus Fabre come out with their version of a Bose 901? Will McIntosh become BoseIntosh?
I would prefer the 5. I don’t like big bass. I find too much bass takes away from the mids. I hope one day you will get the Accuphase DAC60 module and tell us your impressions. I’m running mine in and it’s sounding really nice after about 80 hours. It's in the E4000. DAC was flat at first but now I prefer it over the Eversolo 8 DAC.
Why don't you move your business to near where I live. Then I could come in a couple of times a week and spend hours listening to various setups. Maybe takeover the store??? Just kiding. Thanks for the reviews.
The original Sonetto VIII was on my short list and I ultimately passed due to it's darker mid-range than I preferred. I was hoping for better things with this new version, but alas, still the same mid-range. Just a little too husky and not as open as I was hoping for. Everything else was fine. I also feel the finish looks a little fake to me too.
Nice review as always. On a purely cosmetic basis, I wish Sonus faber would do away with the cheap-looking shiny silver around the tweeter and the silver speaker surrounds in the Sonnetto series. Only with the black color option does it look ok, but black is the least attractive finish option for me. The shiny silver is unattractive IMO on the Walnut and Wenge finish options.
Please can you review Sonetto II G2, that is most affordable one that can be paired with good sub
Good review Adrian! How would these speakers compare with the Martinlogan XTF 200 floor standers?
Better than the Nova? May be an eventual comparaison? It seems so good that I may consider those instead of my dream Serafino🤯

Great review, as always. How about a quick comparison with the PS Audio FR-10? And somehow, the dreaded 'O' word slipped in 😊
Will the g2 8's sound too warm with the 2800 preamp and 462 combo? TY🏁👍
I have your same amplifier paired with the c55. I was also wondering the same thing. Though I'm pretty sure my room is to small for these speakers.
room size recommendations??
Здравствуйте. Скажите эту акустику можно использовать в помещении 32м кв спасибо. С усилителем Denon pma 2500 ne
Personal taste thing :-) What's with the white mid driver? Sticks out like a sore thumb :-) I STILL would love to hear them
I don't know if you guys saw the news this morning but Bose just bought McIntosh Group including Sonus Faber!
And they are re-releasing the 901.
Now Audiophiles have a meltdown like libs after election.

@@louisperlman8030 OMG ! not smart :-) Here's hoping that if they do, they improve it by at least 100% LOL
Bose is my favourite audiophile brand.

BoseNfaber...Will they leave Mac or Faber alone? Bose want's the patents and we shall see how this show pans out.
Now a Bose dealer 😅

Why no 3 woofers?
Dual 8 inch bass drivers equate to a 16 inch driver.
My dealer stopped carrying the previous 8 series because they were too big sounding.

Nope, to match a 16 inch wf surface you need four 8 inch wfs
Would like a video of you’re feeling about Bose buying MacIntosh! Could be the ruin of a great audio company
Nakamichi: “Hold my … . .. ..$2,000 interconnects” 🍺
This SFV8G2 won me over from B&W…
Bose will rebrand Bonus Father those are now Bonnetto G2
Adrian, check this tune out = La Metatron, track Ice cream crazy, its ace, check it out...

You mean the Bose...!
Did Bose just buy Sonus Faber?
Yep
@AxelGruning a reality star is president. Lions are favored to win the Super Bowl. And now this.

What are you babbling about? There is no silver on any of the G2 Sonetto’s.
@@brentcollins9727😂😂 i was lost too. maybe the g1 had that metallic/shiny thing but not the g2
