It's not because it's a fast paced game, it's because the developer wanted to it being as cartoonish as possible, and also doesn't care that much about details.
If you notice, Gordon and Adrian's reload animations are actually a bit different. Gordon reloads the MP5 by grabbing the bottom of the magazine while Adrian grabs by the side like normal. This same applies to Barney except it's a copy from Adrian's animations. There's more differences but that's all I can explain in my own words

I am waiting for the half life 2: episode 2 mod entropy: zero 2. Its in development and is going to be better than half life opposing force. And hey adrian can climb from a rope but gordon cant.

In TF2 part, You can go to a community server (that allows free Achievement items to be obtained with a command) then after it's done Leave the game and check the items

I wish tf2 had more unique reloads. Scout has three total, Soldier has three, pyro has 2, demo has 2, engineer has 2, heavy has 1, spy has 1, medic has 1, sniper has 2. Remove one from Pyro Heavy and soldier if you consider their stock shotguns the same
Soldier has Stock, Cow Mangler, Shotguns, and Bison, so 4. Engineer has 3 because Pomson/Shotgun/Pistol. I’m not sure about Medic, because while the Crossbow and Syringe reloads are extremely similar, I don’t know if they can be considered the same. Sniper has 3 because Sniper Rifles, Huntsman, and SMG.
Did you know that in csgo all guns have one reload animation(empty) except for the nova and xm1014 shotguns but the cz75 auti pistol has 2 reload animations you can only see this in deathmatch mode because of unlimited ammo but in the first one you take the magazine in front on the trigger and use that one but once you've used it if you try to reload again you will get adifferent reload using a mag that you are carrying like other pistols. Remember this can only be seen on deathmatch mode and if yyou switch weapons you will get the front mag again because of the equiping animation
For old valve games use this to change your fov in the console. default_fov Usually I have mine set to 90 but play around with it to see what’s best for you
hl alyx does have a couple extra reload animations for the upgraded weapons. Bullet reservoir, shotgun autoloader and multi energy cell holder for smg. aside from that, extensive video with a lot of nostalgia
fun fact HLA is the only game with a 50 chance of the animation dropping the mag instead of closing the gun cause I’m can’t if it’s the upper or lower button
Personal ranking from best to worst: Dod:s: very stylish while also not feeling overly dramatic, also pretty good guns selection Cs 1.6/cz/ds: memorable animations, sounds, and the low poly models have a charming style to them Tf2: love the cartoonish logic behind these and the movements, only drawback is some of them having visual errors like demoman's grenades dissapearing or spy's lack of a speedloader Cs:go: pretty good and smooth overall, but 1.6 has slightly more charm imo Hl2: definetly janky on a technical level, but the sound effects and movements are still oddly satisfying and fit gordon's character Hl1/Op4: could use some more sound effects but what is there is real clean Dod: really nice and unique gun selection, but sadly the animation quality is very inconsistent L4d2: really good sound effects but aside from that they dont feel very memorable L4d1: basically L4d2 but worse Cs:s: kind of just 1.6 but worse, very forgetable Hla: not really animations, dont really care for them Tfc: pretty bad, barely animated

valve makes akimbo pistol reloads on screen which is what i wish other triple a companies did. not being nit picky it'd just be cool to have

Some CSGO gun animation is motion captured and some are animated... You can easily see that the FAMAS and P90 are mocapped because it shakes alot
