      The numbers on Llama's strop, such as "8000," "5000," "2000," etc., indicate the thickness of the leather, not the abrasive force.
      If you find an affordable Llama strap with a small number on eBay, I highly recommend buying it.

    Do you soak your tomo nagura before slurring? Is that stone 4 hardness? It is such a nice color.

      Mikawa-White Naguras do not need to be soaked before use.
      I think the hardness of the whetstone is level 5. It is the hardest whetstone I have.
