Nope,you need to change cover as well, there is no sim tray whole in US version in body cover,so you need to change body,phone will be consider repair and non water proof,

Making a sim tray slot is not a big task even a small CNC MACHINE or mini grinder tool can do that easily

Great job. However I think it cheaper just buy a phone with SIM slot at beginning with and I believe it is cheaper considering the time and effort convert it.

They are not claiming that this is cheap or not. It is to show the world that it is possible and they can do it.
Yeah it’s easy to do, but there is literally no reason to do this. It’s borderline ridiculous. But if you bought another housing with the sim slot 😂, and their part $, and took the 10 min to do this … yeah never mind 😂. I feel like this might only be an “if you have a stolen phone” type of thing for some reason

I want to know that I have a screen display problem in my iPhone xs it's when ever I turn on my phone it blinks a green light and screen turn black but touch works this problem started increasing 1st I have to turn my phone on 2 times to make display work it works sometimes and now it's not even turning on I tried so hard I just want to know may it's a board issue because when it fell first day it worked fine now its creating problem and not turning on can it be fixed without replaceing display
They could add a sad card slot also if they can that would be awesome

The sim is only possible because the functionality was still there, you cant bring back what didnt even exist.

All iphones in Chinese market are dual SIM. That's why CH/A (Chinese) models have relatively high second hand value.

But that means that the two physical SIMs will reside inside the phone and can be removable only by removing the back cover of the vanilla iPhone 14 series' phones, right? The frame of the US specs version of the 14 series' phones has no SIM card slot

Although REWA suggests milling out a slot, I believe that if you have the expertise to complete this modification then it shouldn't be too difficult to just replace the housing at the same time for a non-US one, which would come with the sim slot and tray.

Probably just plug and play. When the PhoneGuru channel does it, he just plugs it in and it works.

very simple logic.... avoid buying iphones for US version... if you care and discouraging phones with repair history and worrying for its water resistance.... buy iphones from hongkong with dual physical sim or global version

Wow I installed a dual sim card slot in my iPhone 11 and it was just plug and play.. kinda dumb you have to do all this just to even get a SINGLE SIM card in your iPhone now :(

But I have a better solution: Don't buy an iPhone. There are plenty of awesome phones out there with normal sim slots, as it should be.
