      You know how it is.
      Peninsular centric, as usual.

I love your videos! If i'm a history teacher, i would use your videos in my class. Students nowadays think that war is like pubg or wtv they saw on film/movie. They forget the reality / the horror of it. Thank you for making us remember again.

🙏 Thank You So Much for All those Guarding Angels who've helped uncle Andrew Carvalho to Survived during those immensely suffering times during WWII to be abled to teach the next generations on the Preciousness of Peaceful Living & to protect it! It is also a reminder to all that Malaya ( Malaysia old name before independence from the British Empire in Aug 1957 ) , already had a Multi~Cultural & Multi~ Ethnicities Society before WWII ( 1939~1945 ) ... 🕯🌍🕊🇲🇾

I really enjoy this documentary! thank you for the new-found knowledge ^^ non of my family members nor ancestors shares an hatred towards the Japanese as far as I'm concerned. By my paternal side, my ancestor was an Japanese engineer that moved to Malaysia after the war and married my other ancestor. They had my grandmother but he left when Brittish took over

my grandad is illiterate and only speak one language and at any reunions he would always tell us story of the Japanese occupation and how much hatred he had in his words we all could feel it. We had a family trip to Japan once and we did not tell him we just told him we were going on a trip and he agreed to come along. when we reached we were in Kyoto and in the Airport he immediately began firing up at the fact that we had brought him to a country filled with people he hated the most, but when we went out and saw the beautiful sceneries and Kyoto we saw his eyes turned slightly red almost shedding a tear. I think he never thought the militaristic Japan could be so filled with culture and beautiful ever since that trip he hardly talks about his stories in the Japanese occupation anymore.

Unfortunately many Asian women today still view the whites well not Gods but Knights in shiny armour.

And why shouldn’t they? Their lives became leagues better after the war thanks to Japan’s defeat and also thanks to white ideas and inventions, including one they wear around their bodies everyday.
