I'm writing this message with tears, because of my health condition, the doctor told me this morning that i will not survive my health condition due to my cancer diagnosing, so i have decided to offer my fund to the orphanage children, homeless less privilege there in your country to enable them to always pray for me even am if I'm know more alive as the doctor has told me that i can not survive my health condition your assistance is greatly needed
What an amazingly courageous, and resourceful, person Yap Chwee Lan is!. I would be so honoured to meet her! And thank you to all of you great people at R.AGE for making it possible to hear Chwee Lan's story!
Thank you for capturing the atrocities conducted by the Japanese military during WWII and the stories on how locals survived /saved others during the WWII.
Thanking, the Malaysian agency for doing this kind movie for the new generation to reflect the hardship life that the old folks might went through in their life during war time. I was not even born during this time.
Incredible story! Wonderful person. Totally was in awe of what she and countless others had risk their lives for others. However the producers might have made a basic mistake for dramatic effect. The footage of naval bombardment was actually from the battle of Iwo Jima by battleships of the US navy. A small disgression, a bit misleading and runs the risk of discrediting the whole video and the message.
Hey, may i know where is the story in which a man was accused of stealing rice from the japanese. I need to for my project and can i please claim the permission to use it in the project. Thanks :D
The japanese in the past are unforgivable!!! They deserved their execution !!!I love this grandma who save many innocent lives, you are a true war hero that oppose the japanese atrocities in silence.my respect to you Mrs yap

The stories is no interesting to me . It's heart breaking to tell . Specially to those elderly people's who still live in the country side. Most of them are known the actual fact.
Each and every story of the survivors is a story worth telling and thank you for documenting their stories to share with us fellow Malaysians.
