Hiked to the top the day after this, went down the east face and it was the best snow of my life. Thanks for your video covering the best powder runs, it was very helpful. Great video and I wish you the best
Good video, nice showcase of the North face. Maybe including a bit more emphasis on backcountry safety, avalanche training & equipment, skill level required and options to hire a guide is a good idea; there's enough inexperienced people going through the gates as it is! Have a good winter.
I was there then - weird week. Some great powder, but also huge queues, ice, crust and too warm. Loved carving at speed up and down the gondola until 7pm every day… magic memories.
One to two hours depending on where you go down and end up at the bottom. If you stick to East Face and Higashione, you might be able to do 3 runs before G3 closes at 13:30, maybe even 4 runs if you're strong.
For this coming ‘24/25 season, would you recommend arriving two weeks before Chinese new year (early- to mid- January), or two weeks after Chinese new year (mid-February). This would be our first ever trip to Hokkaido to ski, and we’re trying to maximize snow potential while minimizing crowds. Cheers!
Early to mid-January and mid-February are two of the best times to visit Niseko. Usually, there are more powder dumps early to mid-January than in mid-February. On the other hand, the peak gate opening is more consistent in February. If it was my choice, I'd go for early to mid-January.

Yes, I believe it. Cause I have seen 1 snow rabbit at Annupuri. Lucky you!
great footage!
Have you gone up after the springlike condition? Looks like it snowed again right after the warm spell
What camera are you using?
I was just there but didn’t make the hike. How long does it take to get back to the top for your second run? Thanks for making these videos 🤙🏽

Thanks for your reply! I will be back next season for sure 🤙🏽

does niseko need to worry about avalanche?
If you go out the gates, you need to be aware of the risks.
