【ストーリー/STORY】
日本から訪れ世界に大災害をもたらした《迷い人》。彼らは過去に世界を滅ぼすほどの厄災をもたらしたことから
「禁忌指定」となり、人知れず処刑する必要があった。《迷い人》の処刑を生業とする《処刑人》のメノウは、
ある日、日本人の少女・アカリと出会う。いつものように任務を遂行しようとしたメノウだが、
アカリの“とある能力”により失敗に終わってしまう。アカリを確実に処刑するため、彼女を連れて、
いかなる異世界人をも討滅可能な儀式場があるというガルムの大聖堂を目指すメノウ。
殺されるために旅をしているとは知らず純粋に楽しむアカリの姿に、メノウのなかで何かが変わり始めていたー。
"Lost Ones" are visitors from a land called Japan in another world.
Since their powers brought chaos into the world in the past, their existences are now a taboo and need to be executed.
Menou, an executioner specifically to terminate the "Lost Ones" meet another "Lost One" girl called Akari. Menou tries to kill Akari but fails due to Akari's special ability. In order to kill Akari for once and for all, they set off on a journey to another town where a ritual can be carried out to kill any "Lost Ones".
As Akari is oblivious to this plan, her cheerful nature slowly begins to change something in Menou...

Definitely one of my favorite openings this year! I just love how the opening is so mystifying and beautiful that it makes me cry because of Mili's soft voice near the end. I dont know why, it gives me a heart wrenching and beautiful feeling of being reborn. Also can we talk about how in sync the animation is with the music??? It's just so damn satisfying when the screen starts blinking as the climax of the opening starts to build up at the same time with each thumping sound of Mili's voice and the sound of the piano syncs perfectly well with the visuals ❤️

The anime didn't even get to the good parts of the story. It's at the third arc that things get really fucking wild.
Anime was a 6 at best. All the characters aside from the MC were annoying. I couldn't stand that bitch that the MC had to escort or the loli. Also it being yuri ruined it as well.

主人公の作画が完璧。自分はミリーゼ少佐が一位ですが二位には来てますね。

@@TheSpawnfan Yeah, I was wondering how the conjuring chants will be handled but it turns out that they just displayed the words on the scripture. Then again, it probably make sense because some of those chants can be a mouthful so saying them aloud would be impractical in a fight.

I gave a try to this anime this week after friends recommended it to me and damn, I have been obsessed with it since then! The setting is so interesting and I really can't think of any other isekai that makes the fact that it's an isekai as justified as this one due to its unique plot. I really recommend it to anyone who came here out of curiosity for this absolute banger of an opening, I can't stop listening to it!

最初は見ない予定でしたが、
一話のオープニングが素晴らしくて続きが気になりました。
それ以降の話もめちゃくちゃ面白かったです！オープニングの力って凄いですね！
めっちゃopカッコいい。シーンの切り替えとかカメラの位置とかが絶妙。
最初は無能なナナに似てると思ってたけどなんかそれとも違う独特な雰囲気の作品だと思いました。次回が楽しみです！

The opening instrumental and soft mysterious voice is simply magnificent, menou's design is amazing and cute, akari is boobalicious, momo is pure joy to watch fighting especially with the rage montage she showed when her ribbons burned, love it, unique plot like is so fkcn weird and satisfying how episode 6 ended with a note ( probably a minor spoiler for dialog)

I love how the studio portrait Menou's expression on this opening, especially the part where she express the angered and hatred. Thats some deep detail that tell how the story goes by when I watch this the very first time.
Also when they go to the Cathedral it remind me of tales of berseria and my anxiety guess it right. Most church in isekai setting are really annoying. But I love this anime adaptation, wish they still gonna continue this series.
