I really enjoy the way JC Staff does their animation...they might be the most consistent studio but they have their moments and this looks like it could be decent.
It's not technically an isekai as you might have come to know. One of the characters is an girl who was summoned from Japan but she isn't the main character, the priestess/assassin is the main character and she's native to that world.

If I chose "Fantasy" then some other ppl would complain that it IS an isekai. Whatever... I don't come scot-free, do I? 2. sure, it's confirmed yuri in the source material and I have no problem with it. Gay or not, let the love bloom... jk what makes it interesting is the story premise with an executioner whose job is to kill the "lost ones" and a lost one who is immortal. The first ep gave me some interesting lore and worldbuilding indicating that the author have dedicated a lot of her time to this fantasy world, Not nessesairly Mushoku tensei dedication, but far better than the majority of the generic overpowered MC-isekais we get every season anyway. After all these years I can tell whenever an isekai is just generic OP-MC type or a dedicated one with lots of thouths on the world and storyline. Compare this to the skeleton knight in another world... it's just a generic overlord ripoff with goblin slayer edginess... Not original and interesting at all, no wonder this series got a GA award and thus such a high-budget animation by the best folks of J.C. Staff!

I have nothing to say but the anime looks _so damn promising._ And they got the perfect VA for Momo. She sounds exactly like what I thought she would when I was reading the ln. _Game changer isekai fantasy is here_
The novels are amazing! I'm assuming the anime will cover all of vol 1 so if you want to get on the story before hand you should totally pick it up now in time for the airing! Seriously the writing for some of the scenes are incredible, and I hope the anime gives us the same quality :) Very hyped!

Nah bro the hate is mostly because the guy from the first episode he was alone already sad, then she came out of nowhere, manipulated him into thinking she was his friend and then stabbed him in the back, and now she is hesitant to kill a girl just because she sees her as more than a friend? What about the others that she killed? She is just gonna break her morals because of one person and not even give a chance to the ones before her? I mean sure the “not your usual isekai, self insert” and shit is unjustifiable to hate because of that, but I can understand for the reason that I appointed in the beggining, if I’m honest I really would like to see an ending where the lost one girl destroys everything just because someone dint do their job properly (I dint see any episode I’m just making a few assumptions based on others and a few screen cuts I have seen)

that anime and this one are the only ones that have a plot about "main girl steals the position of protagonist to to the boy who seemed to be the supposed MC" honestly I would like it to be a more recurring trend in manga instead of plots about annoying girls like takagi-san and nagatoro Dx
From what i've read in the manga (which is still ongoing and is an adaptation of the light-novel) there is kind of a big plot-twist at some point which is also pretty Yurific. Hella gay

It covers volumes 1-2. ^^ I own all the English released books so far. It seems we will have a couple more seasons to go if this is able to be renewed
