The soviets did not advice the cubans that is wrong. Cuban generals were alot better than the soviets. The soviets did alot of mistakes that dragged the war for alot more year but it was the cubans that won the conflict. The only thing the soviets were good at was providing supplies but when it came to using them they were bad.
Actually in this war was all Cuba,they even went there without soviets knowledge,after it they send some resources and advisors but was all cuba in this war

Which the Cubans managed to obtain. Which is what won them the war. The Nazis could have killed alot more Soviets but at the end the east Germans became of puppet of the Soviet Union. All the fascists were persecuted.
