This Is so cool! While stationed In Iwakuni In 1978-1979, I was able to see a few games In Hiroshima. One of my Brothers recently mentioned seeing Pro baseball In Japan. After watching this video, I would love to see baseball In Japan again. GO CARP!
The Nippon-Ham Fighters, Japan's northernmost baseball team, of which Ohtani was a member, opened a new stadium this year. The Hanshin Tigers, the team that Shintaro Fujinami recently joined from the Athletics to the Orioles, is known for its unique team and fans. Their stadium, Koshien Stadium, is about 100 years old and their fans are known to be very passionate and unique.
It's crazy to see this, I'm a colombiano and it's todo different compared to baseball here in our country, United states and colombia. Great video!! I would really like to see that ball !!.
This is so cool!!! I have always wanted to see baseball in Japan and it’s so dope that you guys got to see the NPB and share it with us. Would love to get a ball from Japan
Been enjoying your content for 2 years now. The only stadium that you really need to check out is the Hanshin Koshien Stadium. If you could catch a Tigers game there and visit the museum. It would be an amazing experience. The 105th summer high school tournament is going to happen on August 6. And I can definitely guarantee you that it's not your average high school baseball game.
Great baseball trip to Japan! Same happened to me at the Tokyo Dome back in May. Caught a BP homer, and the security guy was on me in seconds, and took the ball out of my glove. I think that is normal... and similarly it was the Carp BP, but the ball had a Yomiuri Giants stamp on it. They must get used throughout the season. If you are ever back, I recommend going to the Hanshin Koshien stadium to see a Tigers game. Great atmosphere.
Bro, this looks so cool. I hope yall had a blast. You guys are such an inspiration to me and how far you guys came, and I want to be like yall much, love, and respect.
Japanese "YAKYU" baseball was derived uniquely from American-style baseball and took more than 100 years to achieve. The fact is that on this same planet, there is another baseball that exists in a different spirit than the US style. Of course, the roots of baseball are USA(or UK), but baseball that was exported to other countries from USA and took root there developed in a different way. This would be a fact. 2023 WBC was the day that ”Japanese YAKYU” defeated the home of ”American-style baseball”. Another way to describe this is to say that it was a battle between Japanese-style "ZEN-INーYAKYU” baseball, which emphasizes "Teamwork among all players", and American-style baseball, which emphasizes "Individual power players", and it was a day when ZEN-INーYAKYU (Teamwork-oriented organizational baseball) won.
I think it's interesting how Lovullo, who played in NPB, has been implementing some of the "Japanese-style" into the DBacks. He even had one of his former teammates as a coach during the spring training.
Really interesting and cool video, guys! I love your guys’ passion for baseball and I am glad you had the opportunity to check out and get to experience some of the NPB Games! It is really interesting to see the routines that the fans have and how the culture in Japan plays into baseball, and what the stadiums look like compared to ones here in the U.S. It has been a dream of mine to check out professional baseball stadiums from all around the world including here! You also did a great job of getting nice shots of some of the items in the Carps’ museum which I thought was pretty cool. I truly enjoy watching all of your videos and player interviews! Thank you and keep up the phenomenal work!
May I say young man, This longtime baseball fan knows it's a mortal sin, but I'm quite envious that you've made a trek that I've always dreamed of taking. Sadly, it'll have to stay a dream. Thanks so much for sharing.
Yoooo I came from tiktok, that ball would go great in my collection. I used to watch you guys when you went to minor league games. Good luck on the channel and love what you do with the interviews.
In 1934 Babe Ruth played at Koshien Stadium. The baseball museum in Koshien has a bat and a ball on display. It's a stadium with history. It's like Fenway Park in America. But there are no green monsters.
I can't believe you. visited 5 stadiums, all Central League, and you didn't go to Koshien - the best of them all. Also, the Dragons mascot is a dragon/koala (called Doala).
BTW when the Swallows score, the music they play is "Tokyo Ondo", a folk dance that was written in the early 30s. The umbrellas are to protect Swallows fans from the tears of their opponents lol.
Yeah I’m dumbfounded by the Tokyo Giants how popular they are and Nike and fanatics make their gear and nothing here in the states. Just glad I’m able to watch their home games on delay via the Doki TV app.
The Japanese game is superior for the fans. I recently found the Women’s professional league and they play fun baseball. This is my new league over MLB this season. Thank you for this wonderful travel journey. Glad you were blessed with some top quality baseball
Awesome video! I'm going to see the Swallows this summer. I checked the Meiji Jingu stadium's website and there were only three food stalls listed. I know the arena is kinda small compared to Tokyo Dome, but is it THAT small? Or is there more food stalls on site?
Hey Bat Boys, my friend and I are planning on going to NPB games in September this year. Just wondering if you bought the tickets for the games online or in Japan? How would you recommend buying them?
What! You came to Japan to watch Japanese base ball and didn't come to Fukuoka Dome the home of Softbank Hawks? That's like a Japanese visiting US to watch baseball and failed to visit Boston! Next time please do visit Fukuoka. Even Billy Joel did a concert in Fukuoka Dome with Softbank Hawks hat - equivalent of Red Sox hat - on him! (though he was understandably wearing Tokyo Giants - equivalent of NY Yankees - hat when he did a concert in Tokyo Dome.
Thank you for coming to Japan 🇯🇵 You should notice Yoshinobu Yamamoto(Orix Buffaloes). He’s best NPB baseball player, and he will be Cy Young pitcher ⚾️
10:45 Inflating balloons with your mouth is prohibited at Hiroshima Stadium due to hygiene issues. There are pumps available specifically for balloons, so buy one and use it.
Thanks for the video! Just for the record, how did you manage to buy the tickets? I'm going to Japan on march and I'll love to go to a baseball game, however I've searched online and I can't seem to find a place to buy the tickets... any suggestion will be highly appreciated! Thanks
I'm a Japanese baseball fan. There are very few games in March. Maybe it doesn't fit your schedule. If you really want to go see it, please purchase it from the Japanese team's website. If you go directly to the stadium, there is a ticket office, so it would be a good idea to go to the stadium and ask the staff for advice when you arrive in Japan. Enjoy:D

vibes are definitely crazy. Japan is deff on my list to go see. hopefully see a couple of games.
I’ve never seen a video quite like this, baseball
In Japan looks so freaking cool
That's because it IS so freaking cool.

koshien stadium with cultural significance as the shrine of high school baseball
Babe Ruth played in an exhibition game at Koushien Stadium. There's a statue of him outside.
Tigers' fans being very passionate, is an understatement.
It's crazy to see this, I'm a colombiano and it's todo different compared to baseball here in our country, United states and colombia.
Great video!!
I would really like to see that ball !!.
Welcome to JAPAN.I'm glad to see you enjoyed in JAPAN.
Trust me. If any baseball fan here in America doesn't have a good time at a typical Japanese Baseball game, it's his/her own fault.
dude the vibe in these games are electric!
The Hiroshima Carp have sent four players to the MLB: Hiroki Kuroda, Ken Takahashi, Kenta Maeda, and Seiya Suzuki. GO CARP!
This is so cool!!! I have always wanted to see baseball in Japan and it’s so dope that you guys got to see the NPB and share it with us. Would love to get a ball from Japan
I first got hooked on Japanese Baseball when I first saw a game back during the MLB strike in '82.

When you come to Japan next time, I want you to go to Koshien!
Oh, Japan. I hope you never change.
Would truly be special to receive that ball!! Love the energy in Japan!
What's not to love?
5試合とも良い試合でしたね。セントラルリーグでの野球観戦ありがとうございます✨
going to Japan in late September, gonna try and catch a game in Yokohama.
Glad to see the Carps doing the 7th inning stretch balloons. Alot of teams seemed to have stopped during Covid.
Yes! I've really missed the balloon cheer.
Love the vids! Japan baseball seems like a whole different atmosphere!

Koshien Stadium is a must see! I went there back in May and the fan experience and museum are top notch!
This is one of my dream trips. Looks like it was a blast!

@@batboysbaseball what?! Best toss-up EVER! Enjoy the ASG festivities!
It's been one of my dreams since the late-80's.

Just so you know, Carp is a special team that there is a fan community pretty much everywhere in Japan.
You play on the team?
this is an insane blog. i’m mad jealous of you and mo
Bro that’s crazy! Atmosphere is crazy compared to MLB

@@ShortLifeHax One of the seven deadly sins is "envy." I'm happy to report the envy died by the time I logged off.

Just met y’all today at the Play Ball Park in Seattle, thanks for being very nice and friendly!
Hope you enjoyed fanfest, and thanks for saying hi!

Been a supporter for years of the channel would be super cool to have that ball
Hi guys. I was at that Yokohama game. Glad that you enjoyed. Come again soon.
Shame you couldnt go to the Tigers home stadium Koshien. I think that is the best experience of all the stadiums.
It’s impressive how many fans there are in the crowd
Fun fact Meji Jingu Stadium is one of the last Staduims Babe Ruth played in people are still trying to prevent the staduim from being torn down.
Babe Ruth wasn’t real
Such a cool atmosphere!
Hope you enjoyed! 楽しんだかな!?
The day I go too Tokyo I’m definitely buying a hat and jersey from Yomiuri Giants
Tokyo Dome was valid for sure
Hope you guys can go to koshien to witness the madness this year or next!
ようこそ日本へ。オリックスの山本由伸投手は、日本一です。
Wish they sold those in the US!
Waaay better than baseball in America
BTW when the Swallows score, the music they play is "Tokyo Ondo", a folk dance that was written in the early 30s. The umbrellas are to protect Swallows fans from the tears of their opponents lol.
Amazing, the atmosphere seems crazy. Good work guys, love watching your vids! Lemme get a baseballllllll
Half way across the world!!! Congrats🎉
Awesome video guys!!
God damn their fans are on fire
It’s a shame it’s so difficult to find NPB gear here in the states.
Yeah I’m dumbfounded by the Tokyo Giants how popular they are and Nike and fanatics make their gear and nothing here in the states. Just glad I’m able to watch their home games on delay via the Doki TV app.
Props for the Nats hat and their city connect jersey btw!
I love the Bat Boys
You should go to the Koshien!!!!

"Panda or a monkey..." haha.. it's Doala the Koala so those were koala ears you were wearing. Carp fan here. Glad they won while you were there.

This reminds me of Baseball 9😂
This channel has good content. 📈
I wanted you to come to Koshien stadium (Hanshin Tigers) but it is too popular and difficult to get a ticket😢 even a member of tigers fan club.
