Dylan ensured everyone’s safety on that bus without a moments hesitation.
What a legend.
Not just on the bus. He could have saved people in the cars who were in the oncoming traffic lanes the bus was veering into.
In other words. He's a hero for being helpful and heroic for stopping that bus 🚌 while the driver wasn't feeling so good. 🎉😮🛑😫🤢🤒💫😇🎖😎👍🕶🏅😄😊😃😀😁🤮

I love how he was comforting his little sister even as he was being honored. This 7th grader is a real “stand-up guy”.

I’m proud of how his parents aren’t letting him be overwhelmed by too many interviews and questions! Obviously great parents to raise a smarty like that. Really nice to see stories like this amongst all the sad.

It's so rare to find anything good on the news anymore. Usually, it's only the bad. This is amazing to see, and that boy is a hero!
I just saw this video itself earlier today on TikTok and some of his family were on there commenting. There is a lot of good that gets recorded but news doesn’t show it much

You’re right, and you’d also be surprised at the many scenarios that do come about that require the help of kind citizens maybe not like this situation with this young man helping the operator but unfortunately many other dire circumstances that do occur.

The fact that his parents are also protecting him from excessive media coverage and interviews gives us an idea of where he gets it from. Seem like humble folks with morals. A lot of parents would be pushing their kids into the camera hoping a few dollars might somehow get tossed their way

This gives me goosebumps. His awareness and observational awareness is unreal for his age. That is a gift. Special guy right here. Even in his praises he is humble, mature, and doesn’t make this about himself (puts arm around sister). Wow

I love it. Dads hanging out with their sons and teaching them life skills. Yeah, that works. When those kids find themselves in challenging situations, they know what to do. Good job dad.

His actions on the bus are obviously brave, but when I saw him ask his sister if she was ok during the ceremony, I knew he's a hero. Those parents have every right to be proud.

Watching this smiling. This is truly an act of bravery, all the kids were screaming but he kept his cool and took charge. He also seems like a very humble kid. God bless him.

@@nealedmondson3191 Jfc. Seizures can happen unexpectedly for many people. One of my high-school English teacher had one unexpectedly. We shouldn't be firing people for their conditions, people with seizures depending on the severity can be able to have and keep their jobs.
Since she's a bus driver I'm assuming this is probably not something that happens often.

The compassion just pours off of this kid, I'm in tears. What an Angel and what a hero. And a commander! He said "someone call 911 NOW", no hesitation.
I gotta think he somehow overheard her making that call and thankfully he was alert enough to observe her state and take charge. There's no telling how many lives he saved, I'd be crying overwhelmed with pride and love if this was my child, but I'm just crying cos he seems to be a kind and sensible human. Got me feeling like his mom cos when she said her heart skipped with joy and whatnot because of his actions I felt that.
It's good of the schools to raise up the kids that way . The parents are just sperm donors .. "for the cause" it's why babies are registered. You no longer own them , like the car . They let you use it unless you use it in ways they don't approve of. You and now those kids are things not people . Great work !
