Great insights. To optimize, remember that A/B testing your ad visuals and copy can improve performance. A simple change in image or a more compelling call-to-action can increase your click-through rates.
Hi, We are looking to scale a specific category of our business. Would you recommend creating a separate TOF MOF BOF for it, or start putting ads in existing campaigns?
Hi Ben, Facebook has been putting these terrible-looking Ai generated backgrounds on my catalogue ad even though I've turned off that option. It has completely destroyed the ROAS on what used to be quite a successful ad. I've been trying to contact them but they ignore me for like 5 days and then say its because of my wifi. I've seen these ads with the ai backgrounds on three different phones. Do you reckon there's any way to get compensation because surely using the background without my consent is illegal?
Does anyone know how to turn specific optimizations off by default? Including text suggestions? Incredibly annoying to have to toggle multiple options every time I'm creating an ad.
Hi Ben, a very helpful video, thanks! Quick question. I noticed that after 2 months, my campaign has dropped off (lower purchases, lower CTR, higher CPC). I tried changing my creative with no improvement. Would you recommend: 1) Starting a new campaign. 2) Pausing the existing one and resuming it after a week. 3) Leaving the existing campaign on with the hope it will pick up? Thanks!
What most likely happened is that your new creative didn't land as you would have hoped. This happens often and I think the best solution is to keep testing new ads until you find new winners. Changing the campaign structure or turning it off and on is unlikely to make much of a difference
What would you recommend if you’ve already ran an ad for awhile with these optimizations but want to turn some off? Edit the ad directly, or duplicate into a new ad set and then edit it?
While this is a good videos as usual. When you are handling plenty ad s at the same time, I will rather just move with the flow of Meta and look at result for some period. The result will guide me on how to adjust accordingly.
My clients ads keep stopping because of Facebooks inability to process payment. There is nothing wrong with the paym method and it seems to be an issue on FBs end. Any experience with this? A manual payment will occasionally go thru, but then it will still say "payment unsettled" for hours afterwards. Very frustrating
Hi Ben! I'm running an ad set at $20/day. Because it's a small budget, would you still recommend to run 4 ads inside that ad set? Or because it's a smaller budget, I want to limit variables and have only 2 ads running for example. It's sales campaign, and I only run video ads
some ads do not look like in the preview, after they have gone through the "optimizer". often enough they look utterly disgusting and broken - meta's ai has no sense of taste. if you work with clients that are somewhat picky about the look of their ads, do not use this function at all.
@@BenHeath you are right :) and thank you for bringing this topic up. it seems many people just use the optimization without a second thought, so it's good you explained it!

Thank you very much, Ben, you just saved me from a lot of stress -- by making clear this problem. You ROCK!
Learned this the hard way, definitely wish I had this video a month ago! Still, thanks for the info 🤙🏽
These are the things that most people ignore. Thank you for explaining.
i left all these on. thank you so much for this video. really appreciate it
Happy to help :)
Love the vids, I watch them all the time 😊 Just a quick one. You mentioned people being able to leave comments on ads. How do we view these? TIA!
Thanks. Best place is Meta Business Suite :)
I hope meta will start removing the lol and angry emoji. Some people have nothing to do than trolling and add them to your ads
Thank you

What's your take on TikTok ads Ben?
Thanks for this video
But I couldn't run my Ads because of ads set errors 😢

I'd duplicate and edit the new version :)

It's an effort vs reward situation. It is extra effort to do this and you have to work out if it's worth it for you.

Yeah we have run into this in the past. The easiest option is usually to just add another payment method.
I changed my card before I got it successful...if amount is not in your account check from your bank for them to credit it back

I don't think running 4 ads is a mistake but with that budget I probably would reduce to 2.
@@BenHeath Thank you so much for the reply!
I keep getting image errors all the time on the setup.... reel etc...
If my ad is a video that already has music in it, should I turn off the music optimizaiton ? thanks
Yes I would
Ugh. My FB screen looks nothing like what’s shown here.
How do I contact you?
Links are in the video description :)

That's why its always good to check :)
