Red Rose Miku, Sept. 14, 2017 interview: At the Band forming nobody in our band had done "Hard Rock" so we had started without knowing anything - we have grown greatly musically as a Band.
They make faces at each other any time any where during a show. The guitar journey for Miku (Vocals/Lyrics) only started in 2014 after she formed the band in 2013 as she didn't play guitar before. Kanami wanted some else to play rhythm guitar to release her for lead work during live shows. So she ended up teaching Miku how to play. The whole band have progressed musically together culminating in the Unseen World album 2021. Kanami used the Covid period to push the band and herself to new levels musically and this album was the result and contains one of their slowest songs (Manners) and their fastest (Black Hole).
They are such a fun band to watch. I don’t think they have a bad song. The interactions on stage between members is something to watch. If I can describe this properly,the song writing process. Kanami writes most songs,then sends it to other members for input. Saiki and Miku do the lyrics. It’s a group partnership. I believe that’s what makes their music so good. No one is trying to outdo the other. Two songs “Memorable” and “About Us “ are two songs they wrote for their fans. Both great songs. Understand the lyrics and meanings you’ll see the love and appreciation they have for their fans. I enjoy your reactions.

Saiki didn't do "hengao" to Akane (remember she was singing). Akane always does "hengao" when members come to her🤪 I attended the Zepp Shinjuku Okyuji last night. It was the best show I've ever attended, PO! They performed PLAY last night. This song is 10 times better when you hear it live...well, all of their songs are😁 Btw, I caught Akane's hengao several times last night🤣

Yep, seeing how much fun they have doing what they do, even after 10 years together on stage, just never gets boring. 🤘🏻✨ Hmm, speaking of 10 years, why not go all the way back to the beginning and see/hear what got them noticed around the globe? Not only that, but even saved the band from being disbanded, which was actually a done deal at the time on the part of their label at the time. It was the MV for "Thrill", which through a post on a Facebook page generated I think about 2 million views(?) within 14 days. The ladies even thought their account got hacked. 🤭 Originally a different song was supposed to be realized as a video, but the ladies fought for 'Thrill', which turned out to be more than just the right decision and intuition. There are, many little details in the history of this band, which I think is an important reason why they have such a loyal following. @@785boats Yes especially with Akane sticking her tongue out at Saiki , did you notice earlier were Miku was making faces at Akane and almost didn`t get back to her mic intime .
@@dennisthemenace671 Ha!Ha! Yeah. She also does that in their latest 'No God' live video. She had to run back from the front of the stage to her mike to sing her "Lu Lu, Lu lu" bit. Both her & Saiki were laughing while singing. Precious.
@@DrumAttic sad thing is MOST new reactors to Band-Maid overlook Miku cos she doesn't shed duh that's NOT her job what she does do and BRILLIANTLY is gives Mincho the room to do whatever She needs/wants to by laying down such a solid foundation. Sorry not a dig at You just a moan about Bass and Rhythm Guitarists constantly getting the short end of the stick.
