- The 2021 November tournament for Elite Bass Club went down on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson (or LBJ for short). My partner went out to pre-fish the 2 weekends before competition and got on a pretty good offshore bite. The Friday before the tournament we also went out for a few hours, but focused mostly on trying to find a shallow pattern to mix in with the deep one. However we didn't catch much and that same struggle continued into the large majority of the tournament day. With just over an hour to go, we made the call to completely scrap the offshore plan and went shallow to cover water...little did we know how EPIC the turn around would be!
